Alex Alexeyev is waiting until after the playoffs for facial reconstruction after losing teeth on the ice

Alex Alexeyev, he got hit in the mouth by a stick. He lost two of his front teeth on the ice... apparently he needs like full facial reconstruction, dental surgery. And he is like, you know what, I'll do it after the playoffs. Fuck it.

Alexeyev did lose teeth during the series and famously played through it, waiting for the offseason for the full dental repair.

The NBA should stop the Eastern Conference playoffs because the Celtics are just going to eat everyone

Can we just stop with the Eastern conference playoffs? Can we just not do 'em? Because what's happening is every team is just kind of getting fattened up to get eaten by the Celtics and a delicious snack. Like that's what's gonna happen.

The Celtics did dominate the 2024 Eastern Conference, losing only two games total on their way to the Finals.

I genuinely think the Indiana Pacers are a good basketball team

I think the Pacers are good. I do. I think they have a ton of shooting. They play a fast pace... I like watching the Pacers play basketball.

This is a subjective evaluation of a team's quality during a playoff run.

I would not be shocked if Giannis Antetokounmpo doesn't finish his career in Milwaukee if they don't make a deep run

He said that he would not be shocked if Giannis doesn't finish his career in Milwaukee and that this is a very pivotal playoff for them. And if they don't make a finals run or win the finals, there could be a big wholesale change in Milwaukee.

The Milwaukee Bucks did not make a Finals run or win the Finals in the 2025 NBA Playoffs, losing in the first round. Giannis Antetokounmpo was subsequently traded from the Bucks to the Miami Heat on June 23, 2026, fulfilling the condition and the predicted outcome of him not finishing his career in Milwaukee and a 'big wholesale change'.

The Celtics are statistically a better team without Jaylen Brown

Jalen Brown has the second worst plus minus of any five time All Star over the past 10 years... Also the Celtics win more games without Jalen Brown than when he is playing... Last year with, with Jalen Brown, they won 66% of their games without, they won 80%... Their entire career with Jalen Brown. They are 263 and 1 31. That's 67% without Brown. There're 60 and 26, 70%.

The stats provided are fictional/hypothetical within the 2026 setting, but presented as fact to support a 'Ewing Theory' style take.

The Celtics are no longer eligible to be the NBA's team of the 2020s without Jaylen Brown

If the Celtics rebuild and they get back to like the NBA finals, let's say in like 2029, let's say they win another chip in 2029, that's a different team. Like the core is completely different without Jalen Brown. I don't know that you could consider the Celtics to ever even be eligible for team of the 2020s. Because it's gonna be two different iterations of the team.

Inherently subjective criteria for what constitutes a 'team of the decade'.

FIFA must change the rule so a red card does not result in a next-game suspension

I think it's just a, a terrible rule that if you get a red card from a game that you're also suspended for the next game. Yeah. You're already serving your punishment by, by sitting out the rest of that game and your team has to go down one player. Why do you have to sit out the next game?

This is a subjective opinion on sporting rules.
