Dwight Howard isn't actually good at basketball anymore

Stephen A. Smith was making the case for Dwight Howard today coming back... I'm in support of that just because it would be very funny, but I don't think he's very good at basketball. [He's] one of those guys that looks in shape, but he probably doesn't have any of the skills that he once had.

Subjective evaluation of an aging player's utility.

Luka Doncic is so out of shape that it is physically painful for him to stand up

Luca's smiling on the bench after the first time out. That's probably because he is sitting and it's nice to sit, [because it's] painful for him to stand 'cause he is so out of shape.

Subjective trolling about a player's fitness.

The Lakers are Austin Reaves' team, not Luka's or LeBron's

I'll tell you what, I think it might be Austin Reaves team. Mm.

The Lakers are clearly built around LeBron and now Luka; Reaves is a core piece but not the 'team owner' in any realistic sense.

Luka Doncic doesn't have the same drive as Shaquille O'Neal

But in defense of us, mark Luca is, he doesn't, he doesn't want it enough. Like a guy like Shaq. Right?

This is a satirical comparison used to mock Luka's critics.

The Rams' Australia travel plan was an all-time 'fuck it' move

It was a terrible idea that Sean McVay tried to do, but I have to respect how much of an all-time fuck-it move it was to just pretend that time zones don't exist. He was just like, you know what, fuck it, we're not gonna adapt. We're gonna fly in, fly out.

The Rams lost the Australia opener after using the fly-in/fly-out approach, supporting the criticism in this game-specific judgment.

KOC will get the best out of Kyler Murray

I think that what he's gonna get the absolute best outta Kyler Murray that he possibly can at this point, which I think should be good enough to be a pretty good team this year.

Kyler Murray's 2026 season and Minnesota's performance will determine whether this forecast holds.

Jayden Daniels is going to remind everyone that the bad man is back

I think Jayden Daniels, he's as healthy as he has been since the start of last season. ... I think that he's gonna remind a lot of people who he is. Yeah. That's what I think. I think the bad man might be back.

Daniels' 2026 season will determine whether he re-established himself as an elite or feared quarterback.
