James Harden will score 45 points in Game 7 and single-handedly carry the Cavaliers to the Eastern Conference Finals

What if he's just been waiting this whole time for the series that actually means something to him? And it's this one. He's adopted the city of Cleveland as his own. This is where he wants to actually focus on basketball. He's committed to it. What if he just comes out game seven and he scores 45 points? Could happen. What if he single-handedly carries the Cavaliers to an Eastern conference championship?

The Cavaliers played a Game 7 in their first-round series against the Toronto Raptors on May 3, 2026. James Harden scored 18 points in that game, which is significantly less than the predicted 45 points. While the Cavaliers did win that Game 7 and advanced, Harden did not 'single-handedly carry' them with a 45-point performance. The Cavaliers are currently in the Eastern Conference Semifinals and have not yet reached the Eastern Conference Finals.

The Sixers are playing the best basketball I've ever seen them play right now

The Sixers are playing really good basketball right now. The Sixers are playing the best basketball I think I've ever seen them play right now. Joel Embiid is playing a different style of basketball than he's played in this series. He's playing controlled.

This is a subjective assessment of team performance by a fan/analyst.

The Sixers have better players than the Celtics right now

The Sixers just have better players right now. Is that fair to say? I think it is, right? Maxi's playing... Embiid has been awesome. It feels like the Sixers have, you know, outside of Jason Tatum being kind of injured, they just have better players.

A subjective comparison of roster talent at a specific moment in time.

Joe Mazzulla is officially on the Hot Seat

I'm gonna do our friend Joe Mazzulla a favor. Hank, I'm gonna do you a favor. I'm gonna put Joe Mazzulla on a hot seat. It should wake him up. He probably wants to be on the hot seat. But like in the games that the Celtics have lost in these playoffs, it's been like spamming threes. Threes don't fall. No backup plan.

The concept of a 'hot seat' is subjective in media, though Mazzulla did face significant scrutiny before winning a title later.

A $5,000 ticket to Game 4 of the Knicks-Spurs Finals was actually a bargain

The $5,000 get in price was actually a bargain if you went to that game and you're a Knicks fan because what you got was probably the best night of, of your life... sports will not get any better than that, than if you paid five grand to go to Madison Square Garden last night.

The Knicks had a historic comeback in Game 4 of the 2026 Finals. Value is subjective but the event was undeniably historic.

The San Antonio Spurs are the stupidest good team in the NBA

The Spurs are the stupidest team. They're the stupidest good team that I've ever seen. And they're consistently stupid in big moments.

Victor Wembanyama has a temper issue that causes him to lose control in games

He's got a little temper to him. He did get Mitch Robinson good... he loses his, he loses control sometimes in games when he gets, like somebody just runs into him. They give him like a small elbow to his side. They push him off balance a little bit. They like pick on him a little in like very small ways. Good playoff physicality. And then that builds up for Wemby and he just lets you have it... he's got like a temper issue, I think.
