Kyle Shanahan should win Coach of the Year if the 49ers secure the NFC's number one seed

If the Seahawks beat the Rams on Thursday Night Football and then the Niners win out and they get the one seed overall after everything the Niners have been through, I feel like Kyle Shanahan would be [Coach of the Year]. You could also make the argument that this is maybe Kyle Shanahan's best season as a coach.

PFT suggested Kyle Shanahan should win Coach of the Year if the 49ers got the 1 seed. The 49ers did NOT get the 1 seed — they lost to the Seahawks in Week 18 and fell to the 6 seed. Mike Vrabel of the Patriots won Coach of the Year after leading New England from 4-13 to 14-3.

The Bills defense is their Achilles heel but steps up in major moments

The Bills defense is their Achilles heel. But if you look at what the bills have done in some of these big time games... they have also stepped up in big time moments to make big time plays and win games. Because their offense is not the problem.

This is a subjective assessment of the team's identity following a specific victory.

Drake Maye still holds the metaphorical 'Torch' of the AFC East

[Drake Maye] still have the torch. Yeah. The torch is ours. Whoever wins the division [is the] current torch bearer.

The 'Torch' is a subjective show construct regarding division dominance.

Matthew Stafford is likely to win the NFL MVP award

I think Matt Stafford probably gonna win [MVP]. He's minus 300 right now in DraftKings to win the MVP.

Matthew Stafford won the 2025 NFL MVP award.

England will beat the Netherlands and then lose a heartbreaking match to Argentina

I think England's gonna win this weekend. And then you'll have the realization that it might not actually be coming home after all... losing to Argentina at that stage, that would be the most heartbreaking loss they could possibly have.

Specific tournament outcome needs verification based on the actual 2026 bracket results.

Christian Pulisic is clearly not and cannot be the face of US soccer

I'm just sick of relying on him [Pulisic] to be the face of US soccer because it can't be, it's so clear that he's not.

The 4-1 loss to Belgium was the worst USMNT performance in years

That was the worst performance from the US that I've seen in years. Just completely lackluster from the start. So much blame to go around. Tim Ream, friend of the program, good guy over the hill, turned into soccer Shawn Bradley before our very eyes got dunked on twice.

Subjective opinion on the quality of the performance.
