Lance Armstrong is exactly like Pete Rose in how he only admits to what he's already been caught for

[Lance] actually reminds me a lot of Pete Rose in the way that he deals with things where he wants he's like caught red-handed he'll admit something and maybe he'll give you like a little bit past what you already know about right but then you ask them well what about all this other stuff and then he'll put up like one blocker but like no I never did that.

Both athletes followed a pattern of long-term denial followed by incremental admissions once evidence was overwhelming.

Brooks Koepka should keep his mustache forever

[Brooks Koepka] looks so good though, that mustache. I hope he doesn't shave it because he is one of those guys that if he committed to the mustache life, he could be a mustache guy forever.

Koepka has shaved the mustache multiple times since this episode, so he did not commit to it forever.

Sports leagues should offer a 'Darren Rovell-free' broadcast option for extra money

Just give me a Darren Rovell free option and I'll pay extra for that. Right? Even if he wasn't going to be on the original cast, they could be like, hey extra $10 a week to watch Sunday Night Football with no Darren Rovell on. I'd be like, yeah, just to be safe. To make sure that he doesn't show up.

While a specific 'Rovell-free' fee hasn't been implemented, many streaming services allow viewers to choose alternate feeds that avoid certain personalities.

The NFL should let players protest so that it's no longer a protest

NFL is allowing them to protest so is the protest now to not protest? Well, I thought the hit protest like if someone says, hey go ahead and [protest], that's not protest. You have to now you have to now stand for the national anthem to protest the the ability like no you don't tell me what to do.

The NFL did eventually shift its stance to allow/support player expression, essentially making the act of kneeling less of a 'protest' against the league itself.

The 2026 World Cup final was boring and sucked.

It was boring ass soccer. It sucked. It made me thankful that the World Cup's over, that football's back. Now we can get back into real football, which I'm very, very thankful for. But that was actually, I think that was the best way to end the World Cup, because I'm totally fine with no more soccer now.

Fanatics Fest is a cynical place designed only to take money from fans.

It also seems like the most cynical place ever. Like, you can go to an autograph festival or a fan festival and you know that the guys are being paid to be there. And they're still like, happy to see, interact with you, all that shit. It just seems like every single thing about being at that place is just designed to take money from the people that are there.

Bryson DeChambeau is being targeted by selective rule enforcement.

I think that Bryson definitely did it and it's definitely against the rules. And he got caught for it and they enforced it against him because he's a bad boy. He's had some run-ins before. I don't think the R&A or whatever, I don't think they're particularly happy with Bryson right now.
