LeBron James will not go to the Sixers if they win the title this year

The Sixers don't want to win this year... if the Sixers win this year, then there's no chance LeBron goes to Philly. LeBron James is many things now, but he's not a ring chaser.

The Sixers did not win the 2018 title (lost in 2nd round to Celtics). LeBron did not go to Philly — he signed with the Lakers. The conditional prediction's premise (Sixers winning) never occurred, but the broader point that LeBron wouldn't go to Philly was correct regardless.

2-0 is the most dangerous lead in hockey, and the Blue Jackets have a 2-0 lead. They stink. I'm okay with that.

The Capitals actually came back to win this series 4-2, making the 2-0 lead truly 'dangerous' for Columbus in this specific instance.

The Cavs won the series in 7 games and made the NBA Finals, so LeBron was far from done.

This is a satirical theory about intent that cannot be proven, but the Cavs did win the series, meaning they played more games (padding stats).
