Mark Davis hired Josh McDaniels to get Tom Brady's help with inheritance taxes

Mark Davis, we all know that he's probably not gonna be able to afford the inheritance tax on the Raiders... Do you think that he hired Josh McDaniels as the head coach to get Tom Brady involved in the ownership group so that Tom Brady could then contribute to the tax bill when the time comes?

McDaniels was fired weeks later, and Brady's ownership stake was about his interest in the franchise, not a tax scheme.

The Chargers should consider firing Brandon Staley regardless of their win over the Vikings

I actually think it was the wrong call [to go for it on 4th and inches on their own 20]... I think they should think about firing him anyways, even though they won this game. I'm serious, like, they tried to give away the game. The end of this game was like the Chargers and the Vikings both competing against each other to see who could be the Falcons.

Staley was eventually fired later that season following a historic 63-21 blowout loss to the Raiders in Week 15.

The New York Jets should trade for Kirk Cousins

If you're the Jets, you gotta at least make a call about Kirk Cousins right now. I know they probably won't do it, but you have to ask the question... the Vikings have to admit, like, right now you're rebuilding.

The trade never happened; Kirk Cousins finished the season with the Vikings (before his Achilles injury) and the Jets stuck with Zach Wilson/Trevor Siemian.

Mike McDaniel should have kicked a field goal to break the NFL scoring record

Mike McDaniel should've kicked the field goal at the end of the game. This is chicken shit by McDaniel. I get you want like karma on your side... He should've kicked a field goal to score 73 points. Bullshit that he... it's more disrespectful to the Broncos that they just took a knee.

Subjective opinion on game etiquette and records.

The 4-1 loss to Belgium was the worst USMNT performance in years

That was the worst performance from the US that I've seen in years. Just completely lackluster from the start. So much blame to go around. Tim Ream, friend of the program, good guy over the hill, turned into soccer Shawn Bradley before our very eyes got dunked on twice.

Subjective opinion on the quality of the performance.

Christian Pulisic was a 'no-show' and looked like he didn't care against Belgium

Christian Pulisic, the long anointed Captain America future face of this league for American soccer. Absolute no show of a game, I would say worse than a no show of a game. And then he checks himself out. Just looks lackluster, looks like he doesn't care at all. Had the most turnovers on the field of anybody. That played just really, really, really bad.

Subjective evaluation of Pulisic's effort and performance.

The US will never close the skill gap compared to the rest of the world in soccer

People will never close the skill gap. USA will never close the skill gap compared to the rest of the world in soccer.

Historically, the US has struggled to produce technical talent on par with Brazil or Europe.
