Big Cat, let me ask you embrace debate. Is Patrick Mahomes washed trash or ass? I think he's washed. He's washed. He's washed. Okay. He's washed. Yeah. Check down Merchant. Listen, it happens to every quarterback. He check downs. You know, like Father Time is undefeated.

Patrick Mahomes is widely considered the best quarterback in the world and had just won back-to-back Super Bowls prior to this game.

Nick Sirianni is the most under-respected head coach in the NFL and deserves more credit for his winning percentage.

You gotta respect Nick Sirianni as a head coach. You have to because right now did you know that Nick Sirianni has the highest winning percentage of any coach in the NFL? He's doing an awesome job. And I think it's high time that other podcasts start to recognize that besides just us.

As of early 2025, Sirianni has one of the highest winning percentages among active coaches, though 'most under-respected' is subjective.

Jim McMahon wore a visor in 1985 but did not wear it during Super Bowl XX; Jalen Hurts actually did wear a dark visor during the entirety of Super Bowl 59, making this a correct fact claim.

No team will ever get back to the Super Bowl for a three-peat attempt again.

I don't know if we'll ever have a team get back to a third Super Bowl going for a three-peat... I'd like to bet extremely against it. Never ha ever happened. Same. I I'll put that bet in. [The bet is] 10 grand. It's never gonna happen.

This is a long-term prediction. Given the Chiefs were the first to even attempt it in the Super Bowl era, the odds are against it happening frequently.

The Detroit Pistons are moving in the right direction despite their Game 7 loss

The progression of the Pistons along the way is like, what were they, two years ago? They won like 16 or 18 games. They were so bad. Last year they had competitive series against The Knicks. Then this year, the natural progression from that is, let's take the regular season super seriously. Let's win all the games that we can get a high seed... I would say the totality of this season, we're still going the right direction in Detroit.

The Pistons did indeed improve from 14 wins in 2023-24 to a high seed in 2026, making the trajectory claim historically accurate within the show's timeline.

I will renounce my American citizenship and become French if the Canadiens win the Stanley Cup

I will renounce American citizenship and become French if the Canadiens win the Stanley Cup this year... I'll probably need somebody to come and hang out with me and... the south of France is nice.

The 2026 Stanley Cup winner is pending. If Montreal wins, we await PFT's French naturalization.
