The Chargers feel like they're two head coaches away from being great. ... So whoever they hire next is going to be a shithead, and then somehow they'll luck into the coach they get after that.

The Chargers fired Anthony Lynn after 2020, hired Brandon Staley (often criticized), and later Jim Harbaugh. PFT's cynicism about the 'next' coach (Staley) proved largely accurate for many fans.
