The divisional round exit is the ceiling for the current Minnesota Vikings

This is their ceiling. And it's a pretty good ceiling. I mean, you made the divisional round of the playoffs. You won a road playoff game in New Orleans... You should be happy with this, kind of. Eventually they're going to get exactly where they are every single time with Kirk Cousins.

The Vikings didn't win another playoff game with Kirk Cousins before he left in 2024, confirming this was indeed their peak.

Kirk Cousins was not the main reason the Vikings lost to the 49ers

I'm not going to sit here and do the lazy Kirk Cousins stinks, he can never win a big game. He wasn't good, but his offensive line was worse, and I'm not going to put all the blame on Kirk Cousins. To me, this game was way more about the Niners' defense than Kirk Cousins screwing up royally.

While subjective, the 49ers defense did record 6 sacks and held the Vikings to 147 total yards, supporting the claim that the O-line/Defense matchup was the primary factor.

The Cleveland Browns franchise is built around immediate success

The Browns franchise is built around immediate success. Listen, when you're the Cleveland Browns, you can't afford to give up two more weeks to wait to hire the right coach. It's a win now [mentality].

The Browns have historically been the opposite of a 'win now' franchise, characterized by frequent coaching changes and losing seasons.

The Ravens panicked against the Titans and abandoned their identity

Holy shit, was that a fucking inexcusable loss at home where they just looked terrible. And I know Lamar Jackson had a million yards. But I actually don't blame it all on him because it felt like the Ravens... they panicked when they went down, and how many times are they going to run empty backfield when all season long they were fucking everyone up? That's the stupidest thing you could ever do.

Lamar Jackson threw 59 passes (a career high at that point) and the team's RBs only had 9 carries, a massive departure from their #1 ranked rushing offense.

The MLB All-Star Game is boring and the National League should have won easily

This game was pretty boring. I gotta be honest. The Allstar game was kind of boring. Kind of ironic that the American League wins in a year where it feels like the American League is just, you know, they've getting their ass kicked by the National League. And then if you look at the star power on each team, it feels like the National League should win this pretty easily.

The AL did win the 2026 All-Star game, confirming the outcome mentioned in the transcript.

The US is hosting the World Cup and shouldn't be playing weekday matches at 2 PM just to cater to the European TV audience.

I got one thing to complain about with these games. Why are we playing them at 2:00 PM on a weekday? We're trying to get the European audience for sure. But it's our World Cup. We're hosting it. We should be playing these kickoffs, should be at 6:00 PM at the earliest.

This is a subjective opinion about tournament scheduling logistics.

Jared Goff is one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL and should be ranked higher than Dak Prescott and Justin Herbert.

Jared Goff should be higher too. Jared should be six. Jared Goff, if you look at his stats, since he's joined the Lions outside that very first year, but his recent stats, he's been one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL. You can't really make an argument otherwise.

Quarterback rankings are inherently subjective, though Goff's strong statistical performance with the Lions supports PFT's argument.
