The NBA should put a $2 million prize on the dunk contest to attract star players

I think what they should do, they should just put a shit load of money in the pot for the winner of the dunk contest. It's very simple. Just get a big sponsor. Get everybody to pitch in. You should be like $2 million for the winner.

While the NBA hasn't implemented a $2M prize specifically for the dunk contest, they did implement prize money for the In-Season Tournament (NBA Cup) to increase competitive intensity.

Juwan Howard has a legitimate anger problem

This is he's a repeat offender. He is. So he had that. He also claimed last year that Mark Turgeon... was coming at him and he had to defend himself... He's gotten some weird technical fouls where he's like yelled at people.

Juwan Howard was suspended for the remainder of the regular season following this incident and eventually fired in 2024 after several more altercations and poor performance.

The Juwan Howard incident was great for college basketball

I'm smashing the good for college basketball button. Of course it is awesome for college basketball... Rivalries in college sports where it's always on the cusp of turning violent. That's just good for the sport and nothing bad happened.

The clip dominated sports media for weeks, confirming it was a major engagement driver, though its 'goodness' for the sport's integrity is subjective.

LeBron James ruined the dunk contest by never participating in it

LeBron ruined the dunk contest by never doing it. Correct though. Setting the precedent. [He's the] best players to never do it. He ruined it by saying he was going to do it too. You remember that? Yeah. And then just never did it.

The dunk contest has notoriously lacked star power for years, with stars often citing injury risk or lack of interest, following LeBron's lead.

The Detroit Pistons are moving in the right direction despite their Game 7 loss

The progression of the Pistons along the way is like, what were they, two years ago? They won like 16 or 18 games. They were so bad. Last year they had competitive series against The Knicks. Then this year, the natural progression from that is, let's take the regular season super seriously. Let's win all the games that we can get a high seed... I would say the totality of this season, we're still going the right direction in Detroit.

The Pistons did indeed improve from 14 wins in 2023-24 to a high seed in 2026, making the trajectory claim historically accurate within the show's timeline.

I will renounce my American citizenship and become French if the Canadiens win the Stanley Cup

I will renounce American citizenship and become French if the Canadiens win the Stanley Cup this year... I'll probably need somebody to come and hang out with me and... the south of France is nice.

The 2026 Stanley Cup winner is pending. If Montreal wins, we await PFT's French naturalization.

Patrick Reed is the first PAWG in the history of professional golf.

Patrick Reed, let me tell you, I think he might be the first PAWG golfer. He is. He's thick as hell. Like he was filling out. He also wears... the tight pants... he looks like early era Meghan Trainor... He bends over. He's like, ooh.
