The NCAA's arbitrary rules are a good life lesson that 'rich people don't give a fuck about you'

Isn't it a good life lesson just in general to have a bunch of arbitrary bullshit rules that are made up by some random guy that you have to follow? ... It actually in a fucked up backwards way it actually does teach you the most... and it's that rich people don't give a fuck about you and they just want to keep their money.

This is a cynical interpretation of the college sports system.

Josh Allen will be the number one overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft

I think [Josh Allen] might go number one because of us. ... Four and a half million people are debating whether or not to take Josh Allen first.

Josh Allen was selected 7th overall by the Buffalo Bills; Baker Mayfield went 1st overall to the Browns.

Limiting pass interference penalties to 15 yards will cause receivers to be 'mugged' downfield

It's going to be like the purge for the Seahawks receivers more than 15 yards downfield. ... the NFL is going to create a new law that's going to have like a million unintended consequences to it.

The rule to limit DPI to 15 yards was not adopted by the NFL, it remains a spot foul.

The NFL should stop the clock after first downs under two minutes like college football

The only rule I really want to see in the NFL is... I want the NFL to... adopt the clock stops after a first down under two minutes like the college [rule]. Because it makes—you can come back with 45 seconds left. It's awesome to watch.

The NFL has not adopted this rule; the clock still runs after first downs outside of the 2-minute warning except for other stoppages.

The 4-1 loss to Belgium was the worst USMNT performance in years

That was the worst performance from the US that I've seen in years. Just completely lackluster from the start. So much blame to go around. Tim Ream, friend of the program, good guy over the hill, turned into soccer Shawn Bradley before our very eyes got dunked on twice.

Subjective opinion on the quality of the performance.

Christian Pulisic was a 'no-show' and looked like he didn't care against Belgium

Christian Pulisic, the long anointed Captain America future face of this league for American soccer. Absolute no show of a game, I would say worse than a no show of a game. And then he checks himself out. Just looks lackluster, looks like he doesn't care at all. Had the most turnovers on the field of anybody. That played just really, really, really bad.

Subjective evaluation of Pulisic's effort and performance.

The US will never close the skill gap compared to the rest of the world in soccer

People will never close the skill gap. USA will never close the skill gap compared to the rest of the world in soccer.

Historically, the US has struggled to produce technical talent on par with Brazil or Europe.
