The NFL's new helmet rule is designed to allow referees to rig games

Pretty much what they did was they gave the NFL refs the opportunity to throw a flag on any play that they want to throw a flag on. Right. For the helmet thing... Just heads up that's, that's major NFL rigged vibes right there.

This is a subjective theory about league intent and officiating patterns.

Nebraska shouldn't try to compete with Ohio State; they should drag teams to the depths and wait for them to drown

I think Nebraska's get it all figured out. They don't need to step it up to compete with the Ohio States of the world. They just need to drag everybody down to their level and then beat you with experience. Drag 'em to the depths and wait for them to drown.

Nebraska went 5-7 in 2023, failing to reach a bowl game, though many of their games were low-scoring slogs.

The Rams are going to be the worst team in the league

And Cooper Kupp got hurt again. The Rams are going to be the worst team in the league.

The Rams were actually surprisingly good in 2023, finishing 10-7 and making the playoffs as a Wild Card team.

My proprietary betting strategy for 2023 is to fade the Cardinals

I have a new proprietary betting strategy for this year. It's hot. Just fade The Cardinals. I don't believe their head coach. I don't believe... he did like the fire up speech for the guys... his speech was just like looking around the room being like, who here took the bus to get here? Well, you better light a fire... and I was like, fuck this guy. Yeah, I'm out.

The Cardinals were indeed poor, finishing 4-13 and generally failing to meet expectations, making 'fading' them a profitable strategy.

The 4-1 loss to Belgium was the worst USMNT performance in years

That was the worst performance from the US that I've seen in years. Just completely lackluster from the start. So much blame to go around. Tim Ream, friend of the program, good guy over the hill, turned into soccer Shawn Bradley before our very eyes got dunked on twice.

Subjective opinion on the quality of the performance.

Christian Pulisic was a 'no-show' and looked like he didn't care against Belgium

Christian Pulisic, the long anointed Captain America future face of this league for American soccer. Absolute no show of a game, I would say worse than a no show of a game. And then he checks himself out. Just looks lackluster, looks like he doesn't care at all. Had the most turnovers on the field of anybody. That played just really, really, really bad.

Subjective evaluation of Pulisic's effort and performance.

The US will never close the skill gap compared to the rest of the world in soccer

People will never close the skill gap. USA will never close the skill gap compared to the rest of the world in soccer.

Historically, the US has struggled to produce technical talent on par with Brazil or Europe.
