The Raiders' decision not to pick up the fifth-year option on Josh Jacobs was a massive no-brainer they completely botched.

The one good guy that you've drafted. Correct. You don't give the fifth year to. And Josh Jacobs is... an elite running back and they're not giving him the fifth year. And it feels like this whole season has been like a Josh Jacobs giant middle finger. Fuck you to the Raiders for not paying him. ... This is a no brainer to end all no brainers.

Josh Jacobs went on to lead the NFL in rushing yards and yards from scrimmage in 2022, earning First-Team All-Pro honors and making the decision look foolish.

The Bengals are in the exact same spot they were last year before their Super Bowl run

The Cincinnati Bengals, we talked about it last week. They're sitting basically at the exact same spot they were at last year when they ripped off all those wins and went all the way to the Super Bowl. They go into Nashville, they get in a fist fight with the Titans and come out with a win.

The Bengals did indeed go on a tear, reaching the AFC Championship game and narrowly losing to the Chiefs.

T Higgins is the best number two wide receiver in the NFL

T Higgins is probably the best number two [wide receiver]. He was awesome. And it does feel like he doesn't get any of the pub that Jamar Chase does because Jamar Chase is so incredible.

This is a subjective evaluation, though Higgins is widely considered a top-tier talent for a 'number two' receiver.

Taylor Heinicke has proven he is a good quarterback and potentially 'the guy'

Taylor Heinicke at this point has proven, I think that he's a good quarterback. I'm getting close to the point where I'm just ready to, I'm dangerously close to saying he's the guy. I'm very close.

Heinicke eventually lost the starting job later that season and has remained a journeyman/backup since, proving he wasn't 'the guy'.

Garrett Bolles should catch a pass before he retires

I want to be able to bet on Garrett Bolles to have one reception in every game. Because I feel like Sean Payton is going to try to get him that touch. He definitely will because he doesn't want him to retire as the guy who never touched the ball.

It requires Garrett Bolles to record a touch before the end of his career; that has not been resolved here.

The Eagles' offense might be better without A.J. Brown

I actually think that the offense might be better without A.J. Brown.

Whether Philadelphia's offense performs better without A.J. Brown is a season-level comparative claim and is not reliably resolved here.

The Chargers should eliminate their kicking game and go for it every time

The Chargers should just not have a punter. They should not have a kicker. They shouldn't even have like a long snapper on the team. Use those positions on somebody else and you're just—burn the boats. You're just going for it all the time. Fuck it. Who cares? Right? Season's over. Might as well try to score some points.

This is a deliberately satirical roster-building proposal, not a prediction that can be objectively graded.
