The Rams lost to the Jets as part of a secret deal between Sean McVay and Bill Belichick

The Rams lost to McVay with the stipulation that McVay would pay it forward and lose to the Jets. So Belichick gets things... to keep Trevor Lawrence out of the AFC East.

This is a satirical conspiracy theory with no factual basis.

The Cleveland Browns are a 'for real' playoff team with 10 wins

The Browns now have 10 wins. They're on their way to the playoffs... Browns are for real, man. The Browns are for real.

The Browns finished 11-5 and made the playoffs, even winning a wild card game against the Steelers.

Kevin Stefanski should be the NFL Coach of the Year

Kevin Stefanski gets my vote that I don't have, but I'm going to say it anyway. He gets my vote. He gets this podcast vote for coach of the year. The Pardon My Take podcast is getting behind Kevin Stefanski as coach of the year.

Kevin Stefanski won the NFL Coach of the Year award in 2020.

The Bills are good enough to beat the Chiefs and win the Super Bowl

The team that we've seen from the Bills in the last two weeks, they could beat the Chiefs in the playoffs. Yes. If everything goes correctly, like their defense is good enough, Josh Allen is fucking hard enough.

The Bills lost to the Chiefs 38-24 in the AFC Championship game.

Garrett Bolles should catch a pass before he retires

I want to be able to bet on Garrett Bolles to have one reception in every game. Because I feel like Sean Payton is going to try to get him that touch. He definitely will because he doesn't want him to retire as the guy who never touched the ball.

It requires Garrett Bolles to record a touch before the end of his career; that has not been resolved here.

The Eagles' offense might be better without A.J. Brown

I actually think that the offense might be better without A.J. Brown.

Whether Philadelphia's offense performs better without A.J. Brown is a season-level comparative claim and is not reliably resolved here.

The Chargers should eliminate their kicking game and go for it every time

The Chargers should just not have a punter. They should not have a kicker. They shouldn't even have like a long snapper on the team. Use those positions on somebody else and you're just—burn the boats. You're just going for it all the time. Fuck it. Who cares? Right? Season's over. Might as well try to score some points.

This is a deliberately satirical roster-building proposal, not a prediction that can be objectively graded.
