The Titans' strategy of flying to London late in the week is a mistake that will cost them against the Ravens

I don't know why the Titans are flying out late in the week. I don't know why teams do that. Vrabel's strategy is basically, 'fuck it.' Losers complain about time zones. But in this case, I don't know why a team wouldn't choose to go out there earlier in the week. Ravens flew on Monday. Titans flew on Thursday night.

The Ravens beat the Titans 24-16 in London on October 15, 2023.

The Braves are soft and complainers after their playoff exit

This series [we learned] Braves kind of soft, kind of complainers. If you're a Braves fan, you won a World Series a couple years ago, you'd be happy with that. But now you seem pretty soft. This postseason between the complaining about a reporter tweeting out an accurate statement from the clubhouse... gimme a fucking break.

The Braves were indeed criticized nationally for their reaction to the reporting, and they did lose the series, lending credence to the 'soft' narrative for that postseason.

The Diamondbacks are scary and should not be taken lightly

The [Diamondbacks] are scary. The Diamondbacks are scary. They're very scary. I'm not—Zac Gallen is for real. I'm not looking at that team lightly at all.

The Diamondbacks did push the Phillies to 7 games and eventually won the NLCS, proving they were indeed scary.

The Broncos will bench Russell Wilson and he has played himself out of a Hall of Fame career

Russell Wilson stinks. He turtles so fast in the pocket. He threw for 95 yards. It was never close. I think they might bench Russell Wilson. He's played himself out of a Hall of Fame career as well.

Sean Payton officially benched Russell Wilson in Week 17 of the 2023 season. The HOF claim is subjective but Wilson's career trajectory certainly took a massive hit in Denver.

The Celtics are statistically a better team without Jaylen Brown

Jalen Brown has the second worst plus minus of any five time All Star over the past 10 years... Also the Celtics win more games without Jalen Brown than when he is playing... Last year with, with Jalen Brown, they won 66% of their games without, they won 80%... Their entire career with Jalen Brown. They are 263 and 1 31. That's 67% without Brown. There're 60 and 26, 70%.

The stats provided are fictional/hypothetical within the 2026 setting, but presented as fact to support a 'Ewing Theory' style take.

The Celtics are no longer eligible to be the NBA's team of the 2020s without Jaylen Brown

If the Celtics rebuild and they get back to like the NBA finals, let's say in like 2029, let's say they win another chip in 2029, that's a different team. Like the core is completely different without Jalen Brown. I don't know that you could consider the Celtics to ever even be eligible for team of the 2020s. Because it's gonna be two different iterations of the team.

Inherently subjective criteria for what constitutes a 'team of the decade'.

FIFA must change the rule so a red card does not result in a next-game suspension

I think it's just a, a terrible rule that if you get a red card from a game that you're also suspended for the next game. Yeah. You're already serving your punishment by, by sitting out the rest of that game and your team has to go down one player. Why do you have to sit out the next game?

This is a subjective opinion on sporting rules.
