The Cowboys collapse is the biggest surprise of the season, and the Falcons are the biggest disappointment

I guess the surprise would have to be the way the Cowboys have totally collapsed. I honestly thought that [Andy] Dalton would acquit himself better... and disappointment I would think is Atlanta. I mean that is it was just terrible. I mean the 0-5 start I didn't see at all.

The Cowboys finished 6-10 and the Falcons finished 4-12, both missing the playoffs as major underachievers.

The Tennessee Titans are frauds

We have to talk about the Tennessee Titans being frauds and having the worst special teams of all time. Fraudulent football team.

The Titans finished the 2020 season 11-5 and won the AFC South, though they lost in the Wild Card round.

A punter should be able to play with a broken wrist

I think that if you're a punter with a broken wrist and I want to be the heart of football guy... you should be able to punt with a broken wrist. If you're a punter, that's the one thing in your life that you should be able to still do with a broken wrist.

While punting primarily uses the leg, punters need both hands for the catch and the drop, making a broken wrist a significant impairment.

Philip Rivers is afraid of contact and can't throw deep anymore

Phil Rivers is at this point of his career that he can't throw it deep and he also can't take the physical contact of a QB sneak up the middle on a short yardage situation. It's beautiful. It's been like that for seven years. He's attempted one QB sneak in the last seven years. He just doesn't do it. He hates contact. He hates hitting that a-hole.

Rivers retired after this season; his lack of mobility was well-documented, though he still managed a productive final year.

Luke Fickle will be awesome at Wisconsin

And we hopefully will find somebody like Luke Fickle. Yes. Who I told you prior to the, you know, our taping here. I think he's awesome. Yeah. And I, all Wisconsin fans will not know what to do with themselves when like a fifth wide receiver steps on the field. Even once. I love him... He's funny, he's engaging, he's young. He's exactly who Wisconsin should be going for.

Luke Fickell has not been 'awesome' at Wisconsin. After going 7-6 in year one, he went 5-7 in 2024 with no bowl game. The hire has been disappointing so far.

The NFL Draft is an unbreakable TV event because of the 'transaction of hope'

I totally geek out about it. I do not care what anybody else might say. I think it's, it's unbreakable. It's something As long as everybody wants to actually gather around a television set for three days and watch an event where the power brokers are not physically there.

The draft continues to see high ratings and cultural relevance.

The Detroit Lions will win the NFC North

Lions were one of 'em. Which I think we can all probably agree. They seem poised to make the playoffs. I think they win the division.

The Detroit Lions did indeed win the NFC North in the 2023-24 season.
