Chris Paul might not care as much about winning as his die-hard fans do

I've been seeing this guy [Chris Paul] and it's, I mean, this is long-term and you know, like in every relationship there's always somebody, the relationship seems to matter a lot more to... It's getting to the point where like, I don't want to say, like, I'm not, I'm not trying to be a victim in this, but like, you can care about somebody for so long. And then you wonder, I don't think this person could care as much as I do.

Player motivation and internal feelings are subjective and cannot be verified.

The Celtics vs Heat series will go at least six or seven games

I expected the [Heat] to come out and play really well tonight just because they were a very good team and it doesn't feel like it... I think this will go back and forth. I think we're have a six or seven game series. I think the heat will win one game in Boston.

The 2022 Eastern Conference Finals went to seven games, with the Celtics winning 4-3.

European NBA players should be allowed to drink beer during games instead of Gatorade

My problem is not with the beer. I think if you're from Eastern Europe, you should be able to drink a beer, like instead of Gatorade during the game. And that would be fine.

This is a subjective opinion about league rules that were never changed.

Texas A&M and Jimbo Fisher are a legitimate threat to Nick Saban's dominance at Alabama

In terms of teams that can compete with Alabama, [Texas A&M] are a significant threat to Nick Saban going forward. But he went on to say the narcissist in him doesn't allow those things to happen.

Texas A&M struggled significantly after this take, finishing 5-7 in 2022. Jimbo Fisher was eventually fired in 2023 without ever truly unseating Saban's dominance.

James Harden is still a prime candidate for a massive playoff collapse

Last night with Mitchell not playing well, all the points off of turnovers, which again, he was, he was guilty of. But look, I just have a super hard time with the way he's officiated. It gets so bad with him that I'm like, well I expect there's gonna be some kind of 30 point game. Yeah. I mean he's got the ball in his hands the entire time. But at the end when he needed the free throws, it's like he missed two of the last four. 'cause it—that tells me there's just something about him.

Harden's playoff legacy is a matter of intense debate, and a single game rarely changes the long-term narrative.

The Knicks should be dangerously confident given how the Eastern Conference is looking

They should be. Because if you go back to the regular season games and you know, you try to figure out, okay, what really matters... Detroit's physicality and their defense messes up New York in a way that feels very real. So if you're a Knicks fan and then watching last night going like, I hope Cleveland wins this based on what you saw in the regular season.

The Knicks' success in the playoffs will determine if this confidence was warranted.

Cade Cunningham could end up becoming the best point guard in the NBA

When we're done with this, let's not, not Cade if they don't get through this. 'Cause I think we're all realizing like, Cade could end up becoming the best point guard in the NBA.

This is a long-term career projection that will take years to evaluate.
