Media personalities should get things wrong on purpose once every few months to move the needle

I had somebody to pull me aside. I was like, you take it too seriously when I was younger. And he said, get something wrong on purpose. Just be so wrong once every few months that it kind of registers with people.

This is a subjective strategy for career growth in media, but many 'First Take' style shows have proven this model successful for ratings.

NFL preseason doesn't suck; it's genuine, enjoyable football

It's such a treat every August because everyone's like, oh, the NFL preseason sucks. Guess what? It doesn't suck. No. It's football.

This is subjective; while most fans hate preseason, PFT and Big Cat's brand is built on loving even the most obscure parts of the NFL.

Saquon Barkley is a future Hall of Famer

Saquon Barkley, future Hall of Famer. His legs look even bigger in pads.

While Saquon has had a productive career and won a Super Bowl ring later, it is far too early to declare him a Hall of Famer based on one preseason game.

Josh Allen's passes are so powerful they will require drone cameras to track

They're going to need to devise new cameras. All-22 isn't going to be able to cover Josh Allen's passes. No. They're going to have to have a drone. They're going to get... Obama to fly a drone above the stadium... taking photos.

While Josh Allen does have an elite arm, standard broadcast cameras and All-22 have remained sufficient to track his passes without drones.

James Harden is still a prime candidate for a massive playoff collapse

Last night with Mitchell not playing well, all the points off of turnovers, which again, he was, he was guilty of. But look, I just have a super hard time with the way he's officiated. It gets so bad with him that I'm like, well I expect there's gonna be some kind of 30 point game. Yeah. I mean he's got the ball in his hands the entire time. But at the end when he needed the free throws, it's like he missed two of the last four. 'cause it—that tells me there's just something about him.

Harden's playoff legacy is a matter of intense debate, and a single game rarely changes the long-term narrative.

The Knicks should be dangerously confident given how the Eastern Conference is looking

They should be. Because if you go back to the regular season games and you know, you try to figure out, okay, what really matters... Detroit's physicality and their defense messes up New York in a way that feels very real. So if you're a Knicks fan and then watching last night going like, I hope Cleveland wins this based on what you saw in the regular season.

The Knicks' success in the playoffs will determine if this confidence was warranted.

Cade Cunningham could end up becoming the best point guard in the NBA

When we're done with this, let's not, not Cade if they don't get through this. 'Cause I think we're all realizing like, Cade could end up becoming the best point guard in the NBA.

This is a long-term career projection that will take years to evaluate.
