Tiger Woods stands alone as the best golfer the world will ever see

Tiger stands alone in the game of golf... He was by far the best player that I think we'll ever see in our lifetimes.

Tiger Woods is widely considered the greatest or second-greatest golfer of all time.

Hulk Hogan was a significantly better professional wrestler than he was a person

Listen, we'll, we'll say it right now. Hulk Hogan. Significantly better professional wrestler than person.

This take is made in the context of a satirical news report; Hulk Hogan is currently alive.

Darren Rovell makes every celebrity death about himself

I do think our eSports correspondent Darren Rovell is starting to maybe learn from his mistakes because Hulk Hogan passed and he actually had a couple funny, fun tidbits on his Twitter. Unlike when Ozzy Osborne passed... everyone was like, so you just made his death about you. I think he deleted it. Hulk Hogan... you know, he has a lot of Hulk Hogan memorabilia.

This is a subjective characterization of Rovell's behavior, though based on real social media interactions.

Hulk Hogan is one of the top American exports of all time

Maybe Top American export. The world knew who Hulk Hogan was.

Subjective cultural assessment.

Never apologize to your partner in team golf

We had agreed not to say sorry to each other. We're not gonna say sorry. ... I cold-shanked an iron shot off this par three straight right into the woods. Every part of me wants to be like, 'Dude, I'm so sorry.' I can't. I just looked at him and said, 'Good luck, man.'

This is a subjective team-golf philosophy.

Athletes should be allowed to show emotion and pain

I'm super, super emotional guy. I cry at everything. ... I'm not going to even begin to try to understand what those football players go through each week. ... I think it's fine.

Whether athletes should show emotion is a subjective cultural judgment.

Remembering your why is the key to handling setbacks

I think it's always just about remembering your why. ... Why do I wake up every day and try to become the best golfer that I can be? Why do I wake up and try to be a good husband, try to be a good father? ... Remembering the purpose behind things is always the most important.

This is a personal philosophy and cannot be objectively judged.
