The Open Championship is essentially a 'Snow Game' in football terms

The open is a snow game. There's just so much unpredictability involved in a snow game. Maybe you can throw the ball, maybe you gotta run it. You don't know if you can depend on your kicker at all. That's what I look at here.

This is an interpretive analogy that helps explain the volatility of the event.

The Home Run Derby is officially dead

The Home Run Derby is officially dead. And here's why... the Home Run Derby has lost its luster. The Juice Ball Home Run Derby. The way the format was set, the Home Run Derby is dead because all it took was one horrific national anthem to steal the night.

This is a subjective opinion on the cultural relevance of the event.

The MLB should allow players suspended for steroids back early if they win the Home Run Derby

Our idea that we had last year was one of the best, which is if you test positive for steroids, you can get out of your suspension by winning the Home Run Derby.

The MLB has not implemented a policy where steroids users can commute their suspension through Home Run Derby victory.

Tarik Skubal will win the AL Cy Young

Tarik Skubal is not starting [the All-Star Game]. And he is going to be the AL Cy Young as that guy sent me the envelope... per the guy who gave me the envelope that said bet him right now. He is the odds-on favorite right now.

Tarik Skubal won the 2024 AL Cy Young award in a unanimous vote.

Scotty Scheffler is more likely to win the PGA by 10 than finish outside the top 10

I think there's a better chance Scotty [Scheffler] wins by 10 than he doesn't finish in the top 10. I think this is a great opportunity for Scotty to kind of go back to back at the PGA.

The PGA Championship 2026 concluded on May 17, 2026. As of the latest available information before the final round concluded, Scottie Scheffler was in a tie for 23rd place and five shots off the lead. The final results of the tournament, including Scottie Scheffler's definitive finishing position and the winning margin, are not yet available to verify the prediction.

Brooks Koepka is in a prime position to contend for a win at the PGA Championship

I think [Brooks Koepka] is gonna be in contention here. I think it's a great Brooks Koepka golf course. He's leading the PGA tour this season in Iron Play. ... I think Brooks is positioning himself to get really a chance to win either this PGA or or win it at Shinnecock.

Brooks Koepka finished the 2026 PGA Championship tied for 23rd place with a final score of -2. The leaders heading into the final round were at -6, -4, and -3, indicating Koepka was not in contention for a win.
