World War III is overrated and the term is being overused

My Who's Back of the Week is World War III. We're doing it again, boys. I think this is the fifth World War III that's happened in the last four years. ... I'm so sick of everyone saying World War III just started.

Hyperbolic social commentary.

Donald Trump reports his weight as 224 pounds specifically to troll the media and trigger a reaction

He's actually lost weight. He's 224... 6'3" 224. So that is that's RG3... I think that he does that now. Like at first I think he was lying about it. Now he lies about it because he knows that people are going to make fun of him for lying about it.

Trump's internal motivations are subjective and unknowable.

Chernobyl was an inside job by Russia to discourage nuclear energy and protect their gas interests

I had one the other day that actually I completely believe that Chernobyl was on purpose. Everyone was doing nuclear power plants and Russia has a shitload of oil and gas and so they're like, Hey, let's blow up a nuclear PowerPoint plant and scare the fuck outta everyone about nuclear energy. And everyone stopped doing nuclear energy or inside job.

The generally accepted cause of Chernobyl is design flaws and operator error, not a state-sponsored conspiracy to sabotage the nuclear industry.

Bill and Hillary Clinton have a 0% chance of actually being in love

There's no chance they love each other. Right? It's a work relationship. 0% chance that they're in love with each other.

The internal state of their marriage is inherently unknowable to the public.

The Russian Wagner Group rebellion was a PSYOP intended to dupe Ukraine

It was a PSYOP for the market. There was a PSYOP. Okay, Putin's Gucci. He just did that whole thing to make Ukraine think they could take back Bakhmut and then they're gonna do a pincer move on him... They were able to move troops under the guise that they're doing a coup. And now Ukraine thought they were going to Moscow, but now they're just North [of Bakhmut].

While confusing, the mutiny resulted in the death of Prigozhin months later and significant reorganization of Russian military structures, contradicting the 'fake coup' theory.

Kim Jong-un faked his coma to test the loyalty of his inner circle

Kim Jong-un is back from the coma... His sister has now disappeared. So I think that he did a little switch to make sure to see who's loyal to him.

This remains speculative and unverified by credible intelligence, as North Korean internal politics are opaque.

Skip Bayless and Stephen A. Smith will eventually run for President together

I can see a world like 10 years from now, 15 years from now, where the two candidates for president are Skip Bayless and Stephen A. Smith. And then they run together. And then they're co-presidents.

Extremely unlikely to happen literally, though both have leaned into political commentary since this episode.

No two nations that have McDonald's have ever had a war against each other

No two nations that have McDonald's have ever had a war against each other. Please credit Pardon My Take. Please credit us for inventing that economic principle.

The claim is historically incorrect. Conflicts between nations with McDonald's include the 1999 NATO bombing of Yugoslavia and the 2008 Russo-Georgian War.

Melania Trump's absence is a genius way to control the media narrative

I hope she's just it actually is genius. If I could totally see like President Trump being like, let's just have Melania never be shown in public again. Just so there's always like a conspiracy theory in my back pocket that can take like take control of the media narrative at any point.

Melania Trump reappeared in public shortly after this episode, on June 4, 2018, attending a White House event. Her absence was due to an embolization procedure for a kidney condition.

I believe the guy who claims to be Bill Clinton's son

He's definitely Bill Clinton's son... I've seen the tweets. The story adds up. I've done the research.

There is no DNA evidence supporting this claim and it remains a conspiracy theory.

George W. Bush is the Josh Allen of presidents

George W. Bush... America loves the guy now. He is back in a bit. He's got he's the Josh Allen of presidents. The longer he goes without playing well, the better he becomes. And the more he goes up people's big boards.

This is a satirical comparison that can't be factually verified, though Bush's approval ratings did improve significantly post-presidency.

Donald Trump will legalize sports gambling to improve his approval ratings

I could see Trump legalizing sports gambling. I could, too. He's a casino guy... He could flip that approval rating up to, like, the 60s if he just said, okay, we're going to be sports gaming.

PASPA was overturned by the Supreme Court in 2018 during Trump's term, but it wasn't a direct executive legalization by him, though he didn't oppose the trend.

I am officially a Donald Trump guy if he legalizes sports gambling

I'm immediately a Trump guy if [Trump] does that [legalizes sports gambling].

This is a subjective statement of loyalty based on a condition.

America needs Russia to be the 'bad guy' again to maintain national focus and competition

Russia is back. And not only that, but America's hate for Russia, which is good. The Cold War is back. It is healthy. We need Russia to be in a spot where we wake up always nervous about Russia. You need somebody to point to as your competition.

This is an inherently subjective geopolitical and psychological opinion.
