Every word ever spoken on Pardon My Take is now searchable. Three thousand hours of barrel-fire takes, Mt Rushmores, and ad reads. Ten years, 1,500-plus episodes, all indexed. There's a global transcript search, and every episode page shows the transcript with its own search box scoped to that show.
To christen it, here are two interesting things the search dredged up.
Cool Throne, Hank?
In February 2021, on a clean-up episode after Super Bowl LV, Hank had a question about Diane Sawyer:
He meant posthumously. PFT caught it on first listen. Hank kept trying, but never got close. For the next few weeks "post-mostly" became a running PFT bit, worked into segments, ad reads, and goodbyes. To be fair to Hank, his phonetic struggles are well documented.
But here's the thing about a fully searchable archive: nobody is safe.
Big Cat had the same problem twice in his first year on the show, four years before Hank.
The first time, November 2016:
Big Cat: So if we can maybe give a posthumous, is that right? Posthumous, yeah. Posthumous. Posthumous. Posthumous Man Card to John F. Kennedy.
Six months later, with Patriots legend Aaron Hernandez fresh in the news:
Big Cat: Aaron Hernandez. No longer a murderer. So he was cleared of all his charges posthumously. Is that how you say it?
PFT: Yeah. Congrats to Odin Lloyd.
Big Cat: Congrats to me for getting that right on the first one.
That's two strikes in six months. Hank learned it from watching you, Cat.
I'm putting Big Cat on the Hot Seat and Hank on the Cool Throne, retroactively posthumously.
I'm Getting There
In May 2016, Big Cat read out the famous tweet from @sugarray20 that was clearly the product of a malicious hacking ring. It become a recurring bit.
With transcript search I was able to find every time anyone on the show has come back to read it and make this supercut. Make sure to watch it through to the end.

Yes, this is his real account. He appears to have changed the handle and stopped posting shortly after the tragic hacking incident. ↩︎
