If you are taking an underdog in the playoffs, you should bet them straight up

Spreads don't really matter in the playoffs. They don't. That's what we've realized. If you're gonna take an underdog, take 'em straight up.

The 49ers (underdog) lost straight up to the Eagles, while the Bengals (underdog) also lost straight up to the Chiefs. In these specific games, taking the underdog straight up would have resulted in losses.

Brock Purdy winning seven Super Bowls would erase Tom Brady's legacy

I'm rooting for Brock [Purdy] in the Niners because Brock has a chance to totally erase Tom Brady's narrative and legacy if he wins a Super Bowl... If he wins seven, he would have a better [story]. He was drafted Mr. Irrelevant. He would totally erase Tom Brady's underdog story because it's an even bigger underdog story.

Purdy lost the NFC Championship game two days later and has not yet won a Super Bowl, let alone seven.

The Eagles will beat the 49ers by three touchdowns

I'm betting on the Eagles. The Eagles are gonna win this game by three touchdowns. Rock Purdy is gonna have a Joe Flacco rookie quarterback stat line. Stop the run, score early, make 'em throw, win.

The Eagles won 31-7, exactly a 24-point (three touchdown + field goal) margin. Hank was shockingly accurate.

Kyle Shanahan is the first overall pick if NFL head coaches were redrafted

If every coach went into a big pool and you got to redraft coaches first overall pick. I think you take Kyle Shanahan... I'm not talking about in terms of the body of work... [but] right now.

This is subjective, but Shanahan remains widely considered a top-3 head coach in the NFL.

Arm length doesn't matter for a tackle as long as the quarterback doesn't have tiny hands

Arm length doesn't always dictate everything. If you have a guy that's got short arms that's playing tackle, it's not the end of the world unless maybe you also have a quarterback with tiny hands, in which case it's like synergy factors. Right. Where if the guy with short arms can't block the guy and then the guy with tiny hands gets hit, more likely to fumble.

Whether specific arm length correlates to fumbles based on QB hand size is largely theoretical and difficult to prove or disprove.

You should never order appetizers at a steakhouse to maximize your sides

I'm of the mindset now that you don't need any appetizers at steakhouses. It's, it's a good place to run Zero apps... You don't need the calamari at a steakhouse... The sides at a steakhouse are elite. The mashed potatoes are always elite... mac and cheese always elite at a steakhouse, you wanna maximize your sides to go with a steak.

This is entirely a matter of personal dining preference.

Trent Williams is the rare offensive lineman who is actually fun to watch play

Trent Williams is a joy to have on your team. He's just a fucking bully. He's also the rare offensive lineman where you have fun watching him play. Like after the ball was snapped, my eyes would just go to Trent Williams because it's like this guy, we might throw an interception, but Trent Williams might punch a guy in the throat.

This is a subjective opinion about entertainment value.
