The Washington Nationals will sneakily compete for a wild card spot

I think the Washington Nationals are going to sneaky compete for a wild card spot. That's my wild prediction. They won't be out of it in September.

The Washington Nationals did not compete for a wild card spot in 2025. They were not in playoff contention by September.

Hammocks are more afraid of you than you are of them

Hammocks are more afraid of you than you are of them. My take is that that's a fact. Some of us aren't pussies and it's extreme sports. It's like extreme sleeping. Big Mattress is trying to steer you away from hammocks. Anytime somebody dies in a hammock, it becomes a big news story like a shark attack.

Hot TakeLifeHotSarcastic
The claim that hammocks are 'more afraid of you' is metaphorical/satirical and the safety comparison to bears is hyperbolic for comedic effect.

Sportsmanship should stop at the Little League level

The sportsmanship stops at Little League. That's really what it is. Like when people are like, oh, you gotta win class. You gotta do the—that shit is not for high level college basketball, high level pro sports. I don't care. I want bad losers. I want people who are, who crash out when they lose.

This is an inherently subjective philosophy on sports culture.

The Dodgers will win the World Series and 125 games

My prediction is Dodgers win the World Series and they win 125 games. Dodgers over Rangers in the World Series. Dodgers win 125.

The Dodgers won the 2025 World Series (beating the Blue Jays in 7 games), but they did not win 125 games. Their regular season record was around 100 wins, and they beat the Blue Jays, not the Rangers.

Arm length doesn't matter for a tackle as long as the quarterback doesn't have tiny hands

Arm length doesn't always dictate everything. If you have a guy that's got short arms that's playing tackle, it's not the end of the world unless maybe you also have a quarterback with tiny hands, in which case it's like synergy factors. Right. Where if the guy with short arms can't block the guy and then the guy with tiny hands gets hit, more likely to fumble.

Whether specific arm length correlates to fumbles based on QB hand size is largely theoretical and difficult to prove or disprove.

You should never order appetizers at a steakhouse to maximize your sides

I'm of the mindset now that you don't need any appetizers at steakhouses. It's, it's a good place to run Zero apps... You don't need the calamari at a steakhouse... The sides at a steakhouse are elite. The mashed potatoes are always elite... mac and cheese always elite at a steakhouse, you wanna maximize your sides to go with a steak.

This is entirely a matter of personal dining preference.

Trent Williams is the rare offensive lineman who is actually fun to watch play

Trent Williams is a joy to have on your team. He's just a fucking bully. He's also the rare offensive lineman where you have fun watching him play. Like after the ball was snapped, my eyes would just go to Trent Williams because it's like this guy, we might throw an interception, but Trent Williams might punch a guy in the throat.

This is a subjective opinion about entertainment value.
