Joe Burrow will be rusty and struggle in Week 1 against the Browns

Joe Burrow misses half of training camp again. What happened last year? He threw four picks against the Steelers and lost in overtime. I feel like he's gonna be rusty again. I think the Bengals will be there long term. But I think this is a tough spot for the Bengals Week one with Joe Burrow coming back from not practicing at all.

The Bengals lost 24-3 to the Browns in Week 1, and Burrow had one of the worst games of his career (82 yards passing). The take was exactly correct.

The Chiefs would have won the season opener against the Lions if Kadarius Toney didn't play

I actually think the Chiefs would've won that game without Kadarius Toney. He gave them an a pick six. He then dropped that ball at the end of the game where it was just easily catchable. He dropped that third down conversion when the guy ran across his face. If you just take him away and just have someone run routes but never get the ball, you win that game.

The Chiefs lost 21-20 and Toney's drops were directly responsible for a 7-point swing on the pick-six and multiple stalled drives. It is statistically very likely the Chiefs win without those specific errors.

Matt Nagy is a major problem for the Kansas City Chiefs offense

I have one thing that Chiefs fans need to be worried about. It's one name and his name's Matt Nagy. Eric Bieniemy is no longer with the Chiefs and Chiefs fans, you saw Matt Nagy in all his glory on that third and two when they got so cute. That was a Nagy special. The idiocy of taking the ball outta Patrick Mahomes' hands on a third and two is mind blowing.

While the Chiefs offense struggled at times in 2023, they ultimately won Super Bowl LVIII. Nagy remained the OC, so 'major problem' proved hyperbolic.

This is a legacy-defining season for Kyle Shanahan where he must win the Super Bowl

I'm ready to say it. I think this is a legacy year for Kyle Shanahan. I think he has to win the Super Bowl or else his pristine championship pedigree has been tarnished. If he wins the Super Bowl, he will be the number one coach in the NFL. This is a legacy defining season for him.

Shanahan reached the Super Bowl but lost in overtime to the Chiefs. His legacy remains that of a coach who can get there but struggles to close, reinforcing Big Cat's 'legacy defining' framing.

Betting the over on Alabama basketball is a cheat code

Alabama by the way is a cheat code if you want to get in on it. It's just betting their overs. They just never stopped missing. This has been like, oh, two weeks now they're over under for the first half was 45 and a half points last night. They scored 69 in the first half.

The 'cheat code' status of a team's over is based on a specific run of games; eventually, Vegas adjusts the lines.

Tua Tagovailoa's market value is non-existent relative to his contract

Everything's on the table for the Dolphins. Tua could be a fullback. What would you... What do you think the Dolphins would say yes to for a trade for Tua? Like a sixth round pick for Tua? A jugs machine? I don't know what the hell would Tua's market be?

The Dolphins' internal view on 'everything being on the table' is a subjective claim about team strategy.
