Josh Allen is a franchise quarterback

I had to defend the guy to the hilt the entire way through the process when everybody was beating up Josh Allen. I defended him. And here we are. Franchise quarterback.

Josh Allen became an All-Pro and one of the premier franchise quarterbacks in the NFL.

Tim Howard is the greatest male U.S. soccer player of all time

I would say the greatest, the greatest male U.S. soccer player. Landon Donovan, Cobi Jones, Alexi Lalas, Dempsey, Dempsey, Freddie Adu. That's it. That's the list.

Whether Howard is the GOAT of US male soccer is a subjective debate frequently had by fans and pundits.

Kicking a soccer ball is incredibly easy compared to kicking a football

I think kicking a soccer ball is incredibly easy compared to kicking a football... It's a different skill set kicking a football from a soccer ball. It's terribly different.

Highly subjective opinion from an athlete experienced in one but not the other professionally.

I am officially retiring from professional soccer after the 2019 season

I'm retiring after this year. [Big Cat: Have you said that?] Yeah.

Tim Howard retired from professional soccer in October 2019 at the end of the MLS season.

I will retire if Jimmy Clausen is not a successful NFL quarterback

If Jimmy Clausen is not a successful quarterback in the NFL, I'm done. That's it. I'm out... I want eight years.

Jimmy Clausen lasted only a few seasons as a backup and spot starter with a poor record. Mel Kiper did not retire.

The top of the 2018 quarterback class was significantly better than the 2019 class

Those quarterbacks [2018 class] were better than any of the quarterbacks this year in my opinion. As a group of quarterbacks, the top guys were better.

The 2018 class featured two MVPs (Jackson) and a perennial MVP candidate (Allen), along with a solid starter in Mayfield. The 2019 class has been much weaker overall.

9 inches is the absolute cutoff point for NFL quarterback hand size to be successful

Nine's the cutoff point for usually having success moving forward. So, yeah. I think there is a validity to that. Outlier would be Tony Romo, and you don't draft outliers.

Burrow and Mahomes are near this cutoff, and while many successful QBs have larger hands, it is a correlation scouts use rather than an absolute law.
