There is a 60% chance DeVonta Smith is drafted outside of the top ten.

I think it's probably 60-40 in his favor that he doesn't go top 10. But still, you're very much in the game. Detroit, that's your spot.

Smith was drafted exactly 10th overall by the Philadelphia Eagles.

The European Super League will destroy every club soccer team below the elite level

The richest teams in Italy, Spain, and England... are going to create a league where they're basically doing away with the Champions League. Why would we share money with everyone when we can make a super league and we get to keep all the money... it will therefore basically destroy every club soccer team below them in all of these countries. It's going to ruin the game of soccer.

The Super League proposal faced immediate, massive backlash and collapsed within days of this episode, confirming the widely held sentiment that it was damaging to the sport.

I don't think the European Super League will actually happen.

I don't think it will happen. I don't think it's going to happen. But it does suck if it does happen.

The European Super League collapsed within 48 hours of its announcement due to massive fan and political backlash.

Ben Askren didn't care about the Jake Paul fight and just took a paycheck

Honestly, when I saw him and he was so fat, he had the love handles for the weigh-in, I was like, that guy's not in fighting shape... I think he thought the whole thing was a sham the second he walked into the ring... So Ben Askren just went in there and was like, this is a joke. I'm going to treat it like a joke and just took his paycheck.

Askren's poor conditioning and relaxed reaction to the loss were widely mocked, supporting the theory that it was primarily a financial decision for him.

The 2025 NFL Draft class is full of starters but lacks true star power

I've just been saying it's starters not stars... last year we had six quarterbacks... and this year when you've got, you know, Cam Ward seems locked in at one, Travis Hunter seems locked in at two... there's not really that juice there at the top.

This is a long-term assessment of a draft class.

Jackson Dart's career trajectory and play style is similar to Jalen Hurts

To me, [Jackson] Dart, my comp on him was kind of off the walls... but he reminded me of Jalen Hurts. Just from the standpoint of they kind of built similarly. They're like strong, sturdy, tough guys. They got better each and every year in college. I think you're kind of buying into the kid and the competitiveness.

A scouting comparison is inherently an opinion and can only be judged by the long-term success of Dart's career.

Trayveon Henderson is arguably the best pass-protecting running back to come out of college in decades

Trayveon Henderson for me from Ohio State... he's arguably, and I have to go back through my notes like from way back in the early 2000s, I don't recall off the top of my head a better past protecting back coming out of college. Like he's unbelievable at it.

Pass protection quality is subjective but verifiable through NFL performance metrics over time.
