Texas Tech is a better basketball program without Chris Beard

I really do think they've gotten better almost... The excitement around the program definitely feels higher than it ever was around Chris Beard. Because those fans are so spiteful and like want to just fuck over Chris Beard so badly.

Texas Tech reached the Sweet 16 in 2022 under Mark Adams, while Chris Beard's Texas team lost in the second round, supporting the idea of short-term improvement.

Houston is a 'fraud' that schedules weak opponents

I hate Houston... I've been calling Houston a fraud for two years. They went to the Final Four last year playing nothing but double digit seeds... They scheduled like a D3 team... Houston loads up on wins on shitty schools.

Houston reached the Elite Eight in 2022, proving they were a top-tier team despite Titus's claims of being a 'fraud'.

Betting on every moneyline underdog is a winning March Madness strategy

It's built out... basically the concept is you put $5 on every money dog. Every money dog, you put $5 in every money dog. The Moneyline dog is your insurance for if your future goes out in the first round.

The strategy of betting every underdog on the moneyline in the first round of the NCAA tournament is historically a losing proposition due to the vig and the high frequency of favorites winning.

The Jaguars have to pay a 'Jaguars tax' to sign good players

The Jaguars are doing a complete renovation... They're signing everyone, they're paying everybody insane amounts of money because there is a Jaguars tax that you have to pay. Like if you want a good player... you have to pay them like they're superstars to get them to go to the Jaguars.

The Jaguars significantly outspent the league in 2022 free agency, including the controversial Christian Kirk contract, supporting the 'tax' theory.

North Carolina's inclusion in the tournament is the most egregious committee decision ever

I thought North Carolina, at no point in the season did they look like an NCAA tournament team. They, they, yeah. They, their, their, their highs weren't very high. Their lows were pretty damn low. And I was, I was stunned. I was, in all the years of, you know, that's how the bracket works. It comes out, we, we lose our minds about teams that got in that didn't deserve it. We, we feel bad for the teams that were left out. This is the most egregious example that I've ever seen.

Whether UNC 'deserved' to be in is subjective, but Titus's claim that they didn't look like a tournament team is a strong opinion on their 2024-25 performance.

The 2025 National Champion will be a 1 or 2 seed

I think the national champion is in that group [of 11 teams meeting KenPom criteria]... I have a really good feeling that it was gonna be a one or a two. 'Cause if you watched all season, it just felt like these teams are just way better than everybody else. I feel that way this year for the first time since 2015. I have that same feeling again.

Florida, the #1 seed, won the 2025 NCAA Championship. In fact, all four #1 seeds made the Final Four, only the second time that has happened.

The 2025 NCAA Tournament will be very 'chalky' with high seeds dominating

I think this is the year of chalk... I have a really good feeling that it was gonna be a one or a two. Because if you watched all season, it just felt like these teams are just way better than everybody else... I'm very, very confident that your national champion will be a one or two.

The 2025 tournament was historically chalky. All four 1-seeds (Florida, Duke, Auburn, Houston) made the Final Four for only the second time in expanded tournament history. The national champion Florida was a 1-seed, confirming the prediction of a 1 or 2 seed winning it all.
