Kentucky fans will be fine with John Calipari if he reaches the Sweet 16 this year

Probably Sweet 16. You get to the Sweet 16, considering how bad they were most of the year, I think fans would be completely fine.

Kentucky made the Sweet 16 in 2018 and lost to Kansas State. The fan base stayed relatively stable after that run.

Josh Allen will be the number one overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft

We now have a place for all you Josh Allen fans out there to learn more about Josh Allen at draftjoshallen.com. I, for one, feel bullish about where we're going with this website... [Mel Kiper] putting Josh Allen at number one on his big board. Twice, though.

Baker Mayfield was the #1 overall pick. Josh Allen was selected #7 overall by the Buffalo Bills.

A bar should be composed of multiple mini-bars with different themes and living room seating

What I'm thinking of doing with my idea is it's a bar, but there are like 10 different... Well, it's a bar slash restaurant, but there are 10 different bars that you go up to and you sit down at those bars. So instead of waiters and waitresses walking all around... It's just mini bars everywhere... You can have couches. You can have lazy boys.

This is a subjective business concept.

We can make millions of dollars using bait-and-switch YouTube videos

Why don't we do that? We could be making millions. We need to create the fake YouTube account and then be like, oh, my God, check out the biggest play from the Super Bowl. And then it's just us pitching Pardon My Take at draftjoshallen.com and Bitcoin to Jen... I think we could actually make a lot of money off the bait and switch on YouTube.

While potentially profitable, it is largely a comedic bit about troll marketing.

The John Calipari era at Kentucky is likely over after the loss to Oakland

I think this might be worse [than the St. Peters loss]. It's terrible. You know, lose to St. Peters and Oakland, two of the last three years, and I think probably the end of the Calipari era. There's a really good chance. I mean, I don't think it's certain, but I think a lot of the fans want that.

Calipari ultimately left Kentucky for Arkansas a few weeks after this episode, confirming the 'end of the era' prediction.

It is no longer possible to win a National Championship relying primarily on freshmen in the NIL/Portal era

Cal needs to change back because Jay Wright tonight said it the best because of NIL. These dudes are staying in college longer... You're gonna see good players stay in college for three and four years. And I just don't know if you can win with freshmen anymore because these... two of the starters on Oakland were 24 years old. We're starting three guys that are 18. That's a big difference.

The 2024 champion UConn relied on experienced players and multi-year starters, supporting the trend Jones describes.

Kentucky should not hire a coach like Dana Altman because the program requires a 'rockstar' personality

I think at this job though... you have to be a rockstar to be at this job. Like this is a hard job in the state of Kentucky. This is what we do. ... So you can't be like, Dana Altman looks like an accountant. You can't be an accountant. You have to be a rockstar.

Kentucky eventually hired Mark Pope, a former player with strong ties to the program, who was seen more as a 'basketball fit' than a traditional national 'rockstar' hire like Pitino or Calipari.
