Luke Fickell is building a monster at the University of Wisconsin

Luke Fickell building a monster. Looking forward to that. ... We have more quarterbacks in the room now than we've had our entire history ever. I don't understand. I have no clue what's going on.

Luke Fickell did not build a 'monster' at Wisconsin. The Badgers went 4-8 in 2025, their worst season under Fickell, with blowout losses to Iowa (37-0) and Ohio State (34-0).

LeBron James is the greatest stat compiler of all time

Great job, LeBron. I'm happy for you. You know LeBron, he's had quite a week... kind of a ball hog. But that's fine. You, you are a stat compiler. You're the greatest stat compiler of all time.

While LeBron has played the most games and scored the most points, calling him 'just' a compiler is a subjective framing used to diminish his legacy in the GOAT debate.

LeBron James will wait to break the scoring record against the Bucks

The only thing he could say is if LeBron is a true historian of the game, he would wait to break it against the Bucks. The only other team that Kareem [Abdul-Jabbar] played for. So Lakers-Bucks playing on Thursday night. Maybe he does that.

LeBron James broke the record on February 7, 2023, against the Oklahoma City Thunder, not the Bucks.

Victor Wembanyama will be better than LeBron James was at his peak

We actually, we should get credit in the media because like we were so right about LeBron James we called it. And guess what I'm calling it right now? Wembanyama is gonna be great. Yeah. He's gonna be, he's gonna even be better than LeBron at his peaks.

Wembanyama has had an incredible start to his career (Rookie of the Year), but surpassing LeBron's peak (multiple MVPs and titles) remains a massive hill to climb and is currently pending/incorrect in the short term.

I will not be playing for the Pittsburgh Steelers next season

I will not be playing for the Pittsburgh Steelers. I will be going to a game at Heinz Field to watch my brother play... I can tell you right now for a fact, I'm not coming back... if I went out there to play right now, it [my body] would not perform.

JJ Watt did not play for the Steelers and remained retired.

I agree with Giannis Antetokounmpo that failing to win a title isn't a failure

The older I get and the further along I get and the more perspective that I get in life, I absolutely agree with Giannis' comments. I completely see people on the other side... but in terms of as an athlete, how you have to mentally live your life to not put yourself into a really, really shitty way... I love his perspective.

Subjective philosophical stance on sports and achievement.

I can still bench press 225 pounds for 27 reps today

225. If I was to do it right now. Yeah, I could probably right now today get like 27.

While unverified, Watt's strength is legendary, making this highly plausible.
