Steph Curry is the West Coast version of Joel Embiid in the playoffs

Some are saying that Steph Curry is the West coast version of Joel Embiid in the playoffs.

Embiid has never reached a Conference Final, whereas Curry has 4 rings and 2 MVPs. The comparison is factually absurd but delivered for comedic effect.

Alex Ovechkin should not have been on the power play during Game 5

Ovy did not look well on the ice tonight. He looked pretty slow... I almost think that he shouldn't even be on the power play right now. Because he wasn't, he did not look like he was moving around like the Ovy that we saw in the regular season.

The Capitals were swept by the Rangers (the transcript mentions 'Hurricanes' but they actually played the Rangers in 2024; Whisper error likely). Ovechkin was held scoreless for the entire series.

Caleb Williams has good judgment for realizing the previous Bears coaching staff were 'morons'

I was wrong for thinking that Caleb Williams always wanted to be a bear, but I was right that Caleb Williams is the guy because he knew better than anyone that Shane Waldron and Matt Eberflus were fucking morons. Like he has good judgment.

Eberflus was retained but the offensive staff was overhauled. Caleb's success is still pending.

Luke Cornett is currently a better option for the Celtics than Kristaps Porzingis

Luke Cornett, like, I actually think that whatever Kristaps has, Luke Cornett is a better option than Kristaps right now. And Joe Mazzulla obviously agrees 'cause the second half he sat Kristaps.

While Cornett played well in Porzingis' absence due to injury, Porzingis was vital to the Celtics' Finals win once he returned, though he dealt with further injury.

Arm length doesn't matter for a tackle as long as the quarterback doesn't have tiny hands

Arm length doesn't always dictate everything. If you have a guy that's got short arms that's playing tackle, it's not the end of the world unless maybe you also have a quarterback with tiny hands, in which case it's like synergy factors. Right. Where if the guy with short arms can't block the guy and then the guy with tiny hands gets hit, more likely to fumble.

Whether specific arm length correlates to fumbles based on QB hand size is largely theoretical and difficult to prove or disprove.

You should never order appetizers at a steakhouse to maximize your sides

I'm of the mindset now that you don't need any appetizers at steakhouses. It's, it's a good place to run Zero apps... You don't need the calamari at a steakhouse... The sides at a steakhouse are elite. The mashed potatoes are always elite... mac and cheese always elite at a steakhouse, you wanna maximize your sides to go with a steak.

This is entirely a matter of personal dining preference.

Trent Williams is the rare offensive lineman who is actually fun to watch play

Trent Williams is a joy to have on your team. He's just a fucking bully. He's also the rare offensive lineman where you have fun watching him play. Like after the ball was snapped, my eyes would just go to Trent Williams because it's like this guy, we might throw an interception, but Trent Williams might punch a guy in the throat.

This is a subjective opinion about entertainment value.
