Anthony Rizzo's home run made everyone forget about his vaccination status

Anthony Rizzo was under fire on Friday because he didn't get vaccinated. But then he had like one of those 16-pitch at-bats where he had a home run... pretty much all is forgiven. And nobody's going to bring up the vaccination stuff after an at-bat like that.

Subjective observation of sports discourse.

The Suns fan from the 'Suns in 4' fight needs a championship ring

The bottom line is if they [the Suns] win, if they win the NBA finals this year, that guy needs a ring. He needs a ring for sure. And he needs to do the pregame ceremony.

The Suns reached the Finals but lost to the Bucks, and the fan did not receive an official ring.

Nikola Jokic's ejection in Game 4 was total bullshit

The Jokic ejection was bullshit. It was bullshit. Having that be an ejection was so, so stupid. I don't know if that changes the game... but yes, ejecting the reigning MVP, that's going to have an effect on it.

This is a subjective opinion on officiating, though widely shared by commentators.

'Same height parties' should be normalized.

Normalize same height parties where you show up and they measure you at the door. And depending on how tall you are, they give you these like lifts that you walk around in that bring you up to the exact same height as the tallest person at the party.

Social norms are subjective; there is no objective measure for whether they should be normalized.

Victor Wembanyama is already better than LeBron James

I'm gonna enjoy him because he's, he's like, I I said on Wednesday's show, he is, he's already better than LeBron. So I, that's how I'm gonna enjoy him.

Comparing players across eras or at different career stages is inherently subjective.

People only hate on Shai Gilgeous-Alexander's flopping because his play style is fundamentally boring

I actually think the problem with SGA more than anything is he's just boring. That's really what people are upset about. The flopping like sucks. But... more than anything he's just, he's boring because he is a lethal mid-range guy. He doesn't have flashy dunks. He's not doing... He's just methodically an exceptional basketball player.

The Cavaliers-Knicks series is over after Game 1

Series over, you can't lose that game if you're the Cavs. When it went into overtime, we said the Cavs have to win this. This is must win. You can't give this up. All time choke.

The series has just begun as of the episode date.
