Celebrating a tie in soccer is un-American and makes me want to puke

The amount of celebration over a tie makes me want to puke... Very un-American. We play to win the game. That's why we've won every war we've ever been in. That's America.

In sports culture, celebrating ties is often seen as negative, though strategically in soccer it is often necessary. The claim about winning every war is factually debated but fits the character.

Winning back-to-back Stanley Cups is basically cheating

I didn't know you could win back-to-back Stanley Cups, so that's kind of cheating in my mind. I hate the Blackhawks. We never knew that those rules existed.

The Blackhawks did not win back-to-back titles during their modern dynasty; the Penguins became the first to do so in the salary cap era in 2017.

The U.S. government should use being a hockey fan as an interrogation technique for terrorists

The United States government should make one of their new enhanced interrogation techniques for terrorists. Just make the terrorists become a hockey fan. Watch three overtimes. And then have to watch playoff games until their team loses in the Stanley Cup Finals.

This is a subjective, satirical comparison that cannot be factually proven.

They're the best team at baseball all year, and they proved it. They absolutely decimated the Dodgers.

The Brewers had reached the World Series and were described in the episode as having the best regular season; whether they were definitively the best team is partly subjective.

A 24-team playoff is ruining college football

We're moving to a 24-team playoff. It just sucks. We don't need 24 teams. Twelve is probably a stretch already. What made college football special was the regular season mattered so much.

Whether playoff expansion improves or harms college football is an evaluative judgment.
