Dan Gilbert and the Cavaliers fleeced Danny Ainge and the Celtics in the Kyrie Irving trade

Dan Gilbert fleeced Danny Ainge. No. They [Cavaliers] fleece themselves. Congratulations. I was about to say, the world is off its axis if Dan Gilbert's smarter than Danny Ainge.

The trade is generally viewed as a win for the Celtics; Kyrie was a star in Boston (initially) while Isaiah Thomas never recovered his form and the draft pick (Sexton) didn't elevate Cleveland to the same degree.

Fall starts when August ends

This is what I consider to be the start of fall. I'm a big September 21st truther. I think that fall starts when August ends.

Fall astronomical start is usually September 21-23.

Ohio State has a 0% chance of losing to Indiana

I said, nope, I'm just going to say it on the show. There's a 0% chance Ohio State loses this game [to Indiana]. So now if it happens, it'll be funny.

Ohio State won the game 49-21 on August 31, 2017.

Nick Saban would score 100 points on Lane Kiffin if they played

He's [Saban] not playing against Lane Kiffin. So make that 10-1. Saban would probably go like, he'd put up a 100 burger.

While they played several times, Saban never put up 100 points on Kiffin.

France is unstoppable in the 2026 World Cup

When we first got the bracket, I said I was gonna go chalk and just bet on France. They just seem like there's nothing that you can do to stop him. France looks unstoppable.

The 2026 World Cup final is likely still pending or just occurring around the episode date.

The toxicity towards Christian Pulisic proves America is finally a real soccer country

I think with the amount of vitriol that has gone towards Christian Pulisic, we have shown for the first time we might be a real soccer country because that actually, it's nuts how he's gotten bashed by everyone. The fact that it's gotten so toxic towards this one guy, it's like, oh shit. Maybe we could become a country that people cared that much about it.

This is a subjective cultural take on fandom.
