It might be time for the Steelers to move on from Mike Tomlin, similar to the end of Andy Reid in Philadelphia

The story of this game, besides Mitch being bad, the Steelers defense has reverted to not being that great... it might be time for Mike Tomlin. Like people are saying that it's very similar to the end of Andy Reed in Philadelphia where it's, he's not a bad coach. He's actually a very good coach. It's just been a very long time and it might be time for a change.

Mike Tomlin remains the head coach of the Steelers as of 2024 and has still never had a losing season.

Jameson Williams is a home run of a draft pick because of how his career started

Jameson Williams is a home run of a draft pick just because of the way that [his] career started [with a 41-yard touchdown].

Jameson Williams had a breakout 2024 season with the Lions: 58 receptions for 1,001 yards and 7 TDs, with four 50+ yard touchdowns. He validated being called a 'home run' draft pick.

The Lions are currently the third best team in the NFC

I'm be, I'm joking a little bit when I say that they're the best team in the nfc, they're probably, they're probably number three right now in terms of how they're playing. Yeah. It's probably the Eagles, the 49ers and then the Lions are actually that good.

The Lions finished the season 9-8 and missed the playoffs. While they were playing well, the Cowboys and Vikings finished with much better records and advanced further.

The Jets are currently playing Super Bowl football and are true contenders

We're like, we're looking at the Super Bowl now. He's right. That is Super Bowl football... that is the Super Bowl contender.

The Jets finished the 2022 season on a 6-game losing streak and missed the playoffs entirely.

Michigan was definitively the better team in the National Championship and it never felt like UConn was in danger of winning.

Michigan was the better team. We all saw it. It never felt like [the game] was in danger. Like the only moment that I was like, oh, UConn might have a chance, was when there was like maybe five and a half minutes left and Mullens missed that three to cut it to four.

The episode presents Michigan winning the 2026 National Championship as a fact within the show's timeline.

Michigan was the best team all year — outside of Duke, who would have won the championship by a lot

They were the best team. They were the best team all year outside of Duke. 'Cause that actually was my other big takeaway — Duke just completely, Duke beat this Michigan team a month and a half ago.

Subjective comparison of team quality. Duke did beat Michigan during the regular season in 2025-26.

Danny Hurley is 18-1 against the spread in his last four NCAA tournaments, which is insane

Danny Hurley remains 18 and one in the last four tournaments against the spread. How insane is that? Furman is the only one that they didn't cover. That was the first round this year.

This is a factual claim about Hurley's ATS record over the last four NCAA tournaments. Based on UConn's remarkable tournament run, this is plausible and presented as a known stat. Cannot fully verify exact record but the claim is stated as fact.
