Jalen Hurts is Russell Wilson 2.0 (and that is a good thing)

I said Jalen Hurts is Russell Wilson 2.0... I said Russell Wilson was a very good quarterback. I think Jalen Hurts is a very good quarterback. They, they're not the top three guys in the league, but they're somewhere after that where if their team is good around 'em, they're winning a Super Bowl.

This is a player comparison and archetype evaluation that is inherently subjective.

Kirk Cousins would get another $200 million contract if he only played the Buccaneers

Kirk Cousins might have another a hundred million dollars, $200 million contract if he could just play the Tampa Bay Buccaneers because in the last three starts against [them], he has thrown for 1,158 yards, 11 touchdowns, and one interception.

Based on actual stats provided in the quote, the 'dominance' claim is correct, but the contract claim is hyperbolic/subjective.

If the Panthers beat the Saints, next week's game against the Buccaneers is for the NFC South

With a win over the Saints on Sunday, the Carolina Panthers can make next week's game a clinching game... If the Panthers beat the Saints this weekend in New Orleans, that makes next week's game, which I believe is in Charlotte against the bucks that would be for the NFC South.

The math correctly reflected the state of the NFC South race in late 2025 where the Panthers surged.

Kyle Pitts will sign with the Kansas City Chiefs and become a first-team All-Pro

My prediction was that Kyle Pitts signs with the Kansas City Chiefs and becomes a first team all pro.

Pitts is still with the Falcons as of late 2025; this prediction remains pending for his free agency.

Michigan was definitively the better team in the National Championship and it never felt like UConn was in danger of winning.

Michigan was the better team. We all saw it. It never felt like [the game] was in danger. Like the only moment that I was like, oh, UConn might have a chance, was when there was like maybe five and a half minutes left and Mullens missed that three to cut it to four.

The episode presents Michigan winning the 2026 National Championship as a fact within the show's timeline.

Michigan was the best team all year — outside of Duke, who would have won the championship by a lot

They were the best team. They were the best team all year outside of Duke. 'Cause that actually was my other big takeaway — Duke just completely, Duke beat this Michigan team a month and a half ago.

Subjective comparison of team quality. Duke did beat Michigan during the regular season in 2025-26.

Danny Hurley is 18-1 against the spread in his last four NCAA tournaments, which is insane

Danny Hurley remains 18 and one in the last four tournaments against the spread. How insane is that? Furman is the only one that they didn't cover. That was the first round this year.

This is a factual claim about Hurley's ATS record over the last four NCAA tournaments. Based on UConn's remarkable tournament run, this is plausible and presented as a known stat. Cannot fully verify exact record but the claim is stated as fact.
