McDonald's French fries are definitively yellow

McDonald's French fries are yellow. If you were to give a little kid an outline of French fries and told him to color it, they would get the yellow crayon to color it. Thank you, Hank.

While officially 'golden brown,' they are culturally and artistically represented as yellow.

Joel Embiid falls on his head intentionally to minimize impact on his knees

I saw some people saying that maybe [Joel Embiid] was trying to minimize the impact on his knees. So he's just not landing on his feet anymore. He is the opposite of a cat. He just lands on his head.

While Embiid has stated he falls to protect his joints, landing on his head is likely not the intended mechanic.

Carmelo Anthony should be the coach for the next Olympic team

Melo should be the coach in next Olympics. Melo literally called a play for Kevin Durant from the far sideline. He was like clear out, clear out. It was when Kevin Durant had the sauce.

The next Olympic coach (2028) has not been officially named, but Steve Kerr has stepped down.

Steve Kerr purposefully played bad lineups to make the Serbia game more dramatic

Credit Steve Kerr for making it an interesting game and one of a highlight Olympic basketball game because that was more fun than the US just killing everyone. If he had just kept with his best players the whole second half, we probably would've won by double digits.

Kerr did not intentionally make the game close for drama, he was managing a complex roster.

Michigan was definitively the better team in the National Championship and it never felt like UConn was in danger of winning.

Michigan was the better team. We all saw it. It never felt like [the game] was in danger. Like the only moment that I was like, oh, UConn might have a chance, was when there was like maybe five and a half minutes left and Mullens missed that three to cut it to four.

The episode presents Michigan winning the 2026 National Championship as a fact within the show's timeline.

Michigan was the best team all year — outside of Duke, who would have won the championship by a lot

They were the best team. They were the best team all year outside of Duke. 'Cause that actually was my other big takeaway — Duke just completely, Duke beat this Michigan team a month and a half ago.

Subjective comparison of team quality. Duke did beat Michigan during the regular season in 2025-26.

Danny Hurley is 18-1 against the spread in his last four NCAA tournaments, which is insane

Danny Hurley remains 18 and one in the last four tournaments against the spread. How insane is that? Furman is the only one that they didn't cover. That was the first round this year.

This is a factual claim about Hurley's ATS record over the last four NCAA tournaments. Based on UConn's remarkable tournament run, this is plausible and presented as a known stat. Cannot fully verify exact record but the claim is stated as fact.
