Patrick Mahomes will make B+ wide receivers look like A-tier players

They're basically making a bet that Patrick Mahomes is so good that if you have... a B or B plus wide receiver, Patrick Mahomes can make him an A kind of like what Aaron Rodgers does. I actually think this will be better for Patrick Mahomes... they'll have guys in more specific roles.

Mahomes won the Super Bowl and League MVP the very next season (2022) without Tyreek Hill.

Gonzaga will never make it back to a Final Four

Gonzaga is like, I don't think they'll be back. I'm sure they have great recruits and everything, but damn, that's a [loss]. That's never going to get to a Final Four.

Gonzaga has not returned to the Final Four since this take (as of the end of the 2024 season), though they remain a consistent tournament threat.

Of course [Coach K] is going to get to 100. He's probably going to lose the next game so he can walk away with exactly a hundred clean wins, just straight up three figures.

Coach K won his 100th game against Texas Tech, then won his 101st against Arkansas, before finally losing to UNC in the Final Four. The specific 'lose after 100' prediction was wrong.

The NFL is testing its way toward Tuesday and Wednesday games

Florio basically was like the NFL is testing out putting teams three times in a row on primetime because we're going to get to a point where they start playing Tuesday and Wednesday games. And I believe it.
