The Bulls would have won the NBA title last year if Rajon Rondo hadn't gotten hurt

The Bulls probably would have won the title last year if [Rajon] Rondo didn't get hurt... because he was fourth gear Rondo. He was just getting ready.

The Bulls were an 8-seed. While Rondo played well, they were not beating the Warriors or Cavs that year.

The game on Wednesday could be LeBron James' last home game in Cleveland

Is Wednesday night LeBron's last home game in Cleveland? I just love doing the last home game in Cleveland. Watch. We're going to hopefully do it all playoffs if they win this series. But it's always the best to be like, ooh, this could be the last home game for LeBron in Cleveland.

LeBron James left the Cavaliers for the Lakers in the 2018 offseason. The Cavs actually won their first-round series against the Pacers, so Wednesday wasn't the absolute last, but the prediction of his departure was correct.

The Capitals are going to 'shit pump' the Blue Jackets and finally win the Stanley Cup

I'm super confident in the Capitals. I think they're going to shit pump the Blue Jackets tomorrow night... And then it's the Penguins. And then you're going to lose. Then this is the year, guys. This is the year.

The Capitals beat the Blue Jackets, the Penguins, and eventually won their first Stanley Cup in June 2018.

Andre Iguodala has regressed mightily and is now a washed-up bum

I also am going to put a little tickler file on Andre Iguodala being a washed-up bum. He passed up maybe the most wide-open three-pointer today, and my alerts went off in my brain, like, this guy's a bum now... Iguodala's actually regressed mightily. I'm like, well, guess what? Big Cat saw him pass up that 1-3. He got the bum tag.

Iguodala won championships in 2018 and 2022 and remained an elite defender/role player. Calling him a 'bum' in 2018 was premature.

Michigan was definitively the better team in the National Championship and it never felt like UConn was in danger of winning.

Michigan was the better team. We all saw it. It never felt like [the game] was in danger. Like the only moment that I was like, oh, UConn might have a chance, was when there was like maybe five and a half minutes left and Mullens missed that three to cut it to four.

The episode presents Michigan winning the 2026 National Championship as a fact within the show's timeline.

Michigan was the best team all year — outside of Duke, who would have won the championship by a lot

They were the best team. They were the best team all year outside of Duke. 'Cause that actually was my other big takeaway — Duke just completely, Duke beat this Michigan team a month and a half ago.

Subjective comparison of team quality. Duke did beat Michigan during the regular season in 2025-26.

Danny Hurley is 18-1 against the spread in his last four NCAA tournaments, which is insane

Danny Hurley remains 18 and one in the last four tournaments against the spread. How insane is that? Furman is the only one that they didn't cover. That was the first round this year.

This is a factual claim about Hurley's ATS record over the last four NCAA tournaments. Based on UConn's remarkable tournament run, this is plausible and presented as a known stat. Cannot fully verify exact record but the claim is stated as fact.
