The Rams and Saints were equal enough that the NFC Championship outcome wasn't a total travesty

Maybe it's not better team won, but they couldn't have been more equal in my mind. So I'm not feeling like it was this huge travesty... If they played 10 times, they would go 5-5 probably.

Subjective opinion on team quality.

Baker Mayfield and John Dorsey will successfully change the Browns' culture

I really do think [Baker Mayfield] and John Dorsey are the two guys that can change a culture and have people stop putting really graphic porn on the wall when you walk into the Browns facility.

Baker Mayfield and John Dorsey did lead the Browns to their first winning season in years in 2020, though both eventually moved on from the franchise.

I will play another year of football in 2019

I am going to retire at some point... [but] I don't know what the future holds... I'm going to take the next couple months... then I'll make a decision.

Chris Long officially retired in May 2019, so he did not actually play another year.

Carson Wentz is the greatest person character-wise to walk the earth

Carson Wentz is like the greatest person character-wise to walk the earth, bro... I limit my time around Carson Wentz because he makes me feel bad about myself. He makes me feel bad about myself by being awesome.

This is a subjective character assessment from a close teammate.

Michigan was definitively the better team in the National Championship and it never felt like UConn was in danger of winning.

Michigan was the better team. We all saw it. It never felt like [the game] was in danger. Like the only moment that I was like, oh, UConn might have a chance, was when there was like maybe five and a half minutes left and Mullens missed that three to cut it to four.

The episode presents Michigan winning the 2026 National Championship as a fact within the show's timeline.

Michigan was the best team all year — outside of Duke, who would have won the championship by a lot

They were the best team. They were the best team all year outside of Duke. 'Cause that actually was my other big takeaway — Duke just completely, Duke beat this Michigan team a month and a half ago.

Subjective comparison of team quality. Duke did beat Michigan during the regular season in 2025-26.

Danny Hurley is 18-1 against the spread in his last four NCAA tournaments, which is insane

Danny Hurley remains 18 and one in the last four tournaments against the spread. How insane is that? Furman is the only one that they didn't cover. That was the first round this year.

This is a factual claim about Hurley's ATS record over the last four NCAA tournaments. Based on UConn's remarkable tournament run, this is plausible and presented as a known stat. Cannot fully verify exact record but the claim is stated as fact.
