The winner of Seahawks-Niners will be the favorite to win the Super Bowl

This is such a massive game. 'cause it does feel like the winner of this game is going to have, they, they, they will be the favorite to go to the Super Bowl from the NFC. That's a fair statement. Right? I think so. They only have to play two games. They get to play at home.

The Seahawks beat the 49ers in Week 18 to clinch the #1 seed and went on to win the Super Bowl. The winner of that game was indeed the Super Bowl favorite/champion.

Michigan officially broke Ryan Day and the Ohio State program

It actually is my, my weird take here is that Michigan did it again. They broke 'em. Ryan Day had spent so much energy to beat Michigan this year, after they beat Michigan, it was over.

This is a subjective assessment of team psychology following a playoff loss.

The U is officially back and Miami can win the national title

The U is back. The U is so back. Absolutely win the title. So yeah, that was, that was New Year's Eve, which it wasn't like the most exciting game, but it was exciting to see a team dominate Ohio State the way they did.

Miami lost to Indiana 21-27 in the CFP National Championship game. The U did not win the title.

Indiana is definitively a better football team than Alabama

My theory going into it was Indiana is better than Alabama in every single facet of this game. In a seven point spread was so disrespectful to the type of team... No, Indiana's turned it... they're just better than Alabama. Like their dudes are better top to bottom.

Indiana beat Alabama 38-3 in the Rose Bowl, supporting this claim.

Michigan was definitively the better team in the National Championship and it never felt like UConn was in danger of winning.

Michigan was the better team. We all saw it. It never felt like [the game] was in danger. Like the only moment that I was like, oh, UConn might have a chance, was when there was like maybe five and a half minutes left and Mullens missed that three to cut it to four.

The episode presents Michigan winning the 2026 National Championship as a fact within the show's timeline.

Michigan was the best team all year — outside of Duke, who would have won the championship by a lot

They were the best team. They were the best team all year outside of Duke. 'Cause that actually was my other big takeaway — Duke just completely, Duke beat this Michigan team a month and a half ago.

Subjective comparison of team quality. Duke did beat Michigan during the regular season in 2025-26.

Danny Hurley is 18-1 against the spread in his last four NCAA tournaments, which is insane

Danny Hurley remains 18 and one in the last four tournaments against the spread. How insane is that? Furman is the only one that they didn't cover. That was the first round this year.

This is a factual claim about Hurley's ATS record over the last four NCAA tournaments. Based on UConn's remarkable tournament run, this is plausible and presented as a known stat. Cannot fully verify exact record but the claim is stated as fact.
