Turkey belongs on Thanksgiving and you shouldn't try to replace it with steak

Turkey on Thanksgiving is what you do. You have to keep doing it. If you start doing steak on Thanksgiving, it now diminishes steak... Let's not try to reinvent the wheel. That's When, you eat Turkey. There's no other time really to eat Turkey. Eat steak all year.

Purely subjective matter of taste and tradition.

The Eagles are already Super Bowl champions

Congratulations to the Eagles for getting the one seed. I don't see them losing the Max. Congratulations. Eagles. super Bowl champions.

The Eagles suffered a massive collapse late in the season and lost in the Wild Card round to the Buccaneers.

Trading Tyreek Hill was a smart long-term move for the Chiefs

I also think the Chiefs made a calculated move to essentially say, we know that with Patrick Mahomes, he's gonna be the franchise quarterback for 15, maybe 20 years. We have to evolve and stay ahead of this like trading Tyreek Hill for a bunch of draft picks... I have no problem with like, people are complaining that they got rid of Tyreek Hill. Well, yeah, I think that was a smart move for the next five, 10 years instead of right now.

This is a long-term subjective opinion on management strategy.

The Lions will whop the Packers on Thanksgiving

I don't think the Lions offense will look bad that bad, two games in a row. I think this might be a whopping by Lions. I think WIC qualifies as a whopping... I think the Lions are that much better than the Packers.

The Packers beat the Lions 29-22 on Thanksgiving Day.

Michigan was definitively the better team in the National Championship and it never felt like UConn was in danger of winning.

Michigan was the better team. We all saw it. It never felt like [the game] was in danger. Like the only moment that I was like, oh, UConn might have a chance, was when there was like maybe five and a half minutes left and Mullens missed that three to cut it to four.

The episode presents Michigan winning the 2026 National Championship as a fact within the show's timeline.

Michigan was the best team all year — outside of Duke, who would have won the championship by a lot

They were the best team. They were the best team all year outside of Duke. 'Cause that actually was my other big takeaway — Duke just completely, Duke beat this Michigan team a month and a half ago.

Subjective comparison of team quality. Duke did beat Michigan during the regular season in 2025-26.

Danny Hurley is 18-1 against the spread in his last four NCAA tournaments, which is insane

Danny Hurley remains 18 and one in the last four tournaments against the spread. How insane is that? Furman is the only one that they didn't cover. That was the first round this year.

This is a factual claim about Hurley's ATS record over the last four NCAA tournaments. Based on UConn's remarkable tournament run, this is plausible and presented as a known stat. Cannot fully verify exact record but the claim is stated as fact.
