Kenny Pickett will have a career similar to Alex Smith or Ryan Tannehill

I think Pickett feels like, I feel like he's got a high, a high floor. He's kind of like, if you're looking at what he can be, I think of a guy like Alex Smith, the career that he had, I could see Pickett having that type of a career. You know, Tannehill, Alex Smith.

Pickett struggled significantly in Pittsburgh and was traded to the Eagles as a backup after two seasons, currently tracking well below the careers of Pro Bowlers like Smith and Tannehill.

Once you hit your 30s, you are never going to experience ten days with no pain

The rule is 10 days with no pain [for Ben Simmons to return]. I got news for you, buddy. Once you hit your thirties, you're never going to experience 10 days with no pain. It's just constant pain.

While hyperbolized for comedy, the general sentiment of chronic aches in one's 30s is a widely shared subjective experience.

Jason Tatum is as good as Kevin Durant right now in their respective careers

I thought that going into it, when we talked to Russillo, I was like, everyone's talking about Kevin Durant. Is there a chance that Jayson Tatum is just as good as Kevin Durant right now in their respective careers? Cause obviously Kevin Durant's a little older, a lot of injuries. Like this series, [Tatum] has been the better player. Not even, that's not even debatable offensive and defense.

The Celtics swept the Nets and Tatum outscored Durant while defending him heavily. Tatum went on to make 1st Team All-NBA that year.

I am officially putting my stamp on it: the Celtics are for real

Game two is when I just realized that the Celtics are for real, I'm not officially putting my stamp on it. That's a PFT stamp. The Celtics are for real.

The Celtics went on to make the NBA Finals in 2022, proving they were indeed 'for real'.

The 2025 NFL Draft class is full of starters but lacks true star power

I've just been saying it's starters not stars... last year we had six quarterbacks... and this year when you've got, you know, Cam Ward seems locked in at one, Travis Hunter seems locked in at two... there's not really that juice there at the top.

This is a long-term assessment of a draft class.

Jackson Dart's career trajectory and play style is similar to Jalen Hurts

To me, [Jackson] Dart, my comp on him was kind of off the walls... but he reminded me of Jalen Hurts. Just from the standpoint of they kind of built similarly. They're like strong, sturdy, tough guys. They got better each and every year in college. I think you're kind of buying into the kid and the competitiveness.

A scouting comparison is inherently an opinion and can only be judged by the long-term success of Dart's career.

Trayveon Henderson is arguably the best pass-protecting running back to come out of college in decades

Trayveon Henderson for me from Ohio State... he's arguably, and I have to go back through my notes like from way back in the early 2000s, I don't recall off the top of my head a better past protecting back coming out of college. Like he's unbelievable at it.

Pass protection quality is subjective but verifiable through NFL performance metrics over time.
