Tom Brady and the Patriots were using the 'Omaha' cadence before Peyton Manning

Originally, the Patriots, Tom Brady was using it back in probably 2005 and 2006. And his quarterback coach, John Huffnagle, came from the Patriots to the Giants... He had it in our playbook in 2004. So, Patriots are probably using that in 01, 02, at least... then Peyton kind of made it famous.

Cadence terms like 'Omaha' are common in West Coast and Erhardt-Perkins systems. Brady has acknowledged using it, confirming Eli's claim that it wasn't a Manning invention.

Augusta National pipes in bird noises for the Masters broadcast

I'm more convinced than ever that the birds are actually piped in crowd noise. Agreed. There's one bird in particular. They play its call over and over and over. It's a cardinal, I think. They're getting sloppy with it. I think it might be a whippoorwill. But whatever it is, it's very obvious.

While CBS was caught using recorded bird sounds in 1990 and 1991, Augusta National and modern broadcasters maintain the sounds are natural, though the theory persists among fans.

Bryson DeChambeau looks fat when he is playing poorly

When you're bigger and you're doing well, you're strong. And when you're doing poorly, you're fat. And he looks fat today. Not to body shame, but there's something about the plus four next to his name that the strength now becomes a little pudgy.

This is a purely subjective observation about visual perception based on athletic performance.

I like Patrick Reed more than Bryson DeChambeau because Reed is a genuine villain

I somehow like Patrick Reed more because he's more of a villain than Bryson is... He's the ultimate heel in golf. Bryson is like, he's an aspiring heel. [Reed] knows everyone hates him, and he kind of has just accepted it.

Subjective opinion on which golfer is more likable or a better villain.

Quarterbacks should slide and turn their backs to the defense

You gotta slide and then you gotta turn. So if someone does hit you, you don't just get taken to the shot to the face and get knocked out. The point of sliding is not to take a hit.

This is a football technique claim grounded in quarterback safety principles and is generally correct.

Baker Mayfield has a little Manning in him

I always kind of said it about Baker Mayfield, just because he wasn't scared to throw three interceptions. He was gonna let it rip.

The comparison is a subjective stylistic judgment.

Josh Allen is the best quarterback in the NFL right now

I think Josh is the best quarterback in the NFL right now. His skill set, being able to run and make the throws, and be a fourth-quarter guy and throughout the whole game take over a game.

The best quarterback is a subjective evaluation, even though Allen’s performance can be measured.
