The University of Virginia is the 'Boston' of colleges

Another huge win for lacrosse. Virginia beat Yale. Virginia's just pretty much the Boston of colleges.

UVA did have a dominant 2019 in multiple sports, though the comparison to a pro sports city is subjective.

Giannis Antetokounmpo shrunk in every fourth-quarter situation against the Raptors

I feel bad for Bucks fans because they really did after up 2-0. They're like, this is going to be it. This is awesome. And Giannis [Antetokounmpo] just shrunk in every fourth quarter situation.

The Bucks lost four straight games after leading 2-0, and Giannis's late-game offensive limitations were a major talking point of the series.

Skip Bayless is the real winner of the 2019 NBA Finals no matter the outcome

Skip Bayless is the real winner of these NBA finals, no matter what happens... Because if the Warriors win, it's an indictment on Kawhi. And Skip gets to say, number two, I told you he was number two. And if the Raptors win, it's a big win for Skip Bayless because then he can retroactively use that and say it means less that LeBron James beat that Warriors team without KD back in 2016 because Kawhi also did it.

This is a subjective analysis of media punditry that cannot be factually proven right or wrong, but accurately reflects Skip Bayless's rhetorical style.

I want Steph Curry to not win the Finals MVP just to keep that narrative alive

In order of things I want to happen, I want Steph [Curry] to not win the MVP no matter what just so that we can keep that narrative going. It's got to go to somebody crazy.

The Warriors lost, so Steph didn't win MVP. Kawhi Leonard won it. Steph later won his first Finals MVP in 2022.

Tom Brady helping Mike Macdonald prepare for the Patriots would be a huge slap in the face to the New England region.

That would be egregious if that was true. I don't believe it is true. But if it were, that would be unforgivable. Not unforgivable. That would be a, a blemish, a big blemish. Big time. It'd be a slap in the face of the whole region.

Subjective opinion on how a hypothetical rumor would be perceived.

Jayson Tatum is playing cute by claiming he found out about the Jaylen Brown trade on social media.

I'm sure he knew that he was on the trading block and he didn't know specifically when he got traded and he found out just like everyone else... all Brad Stevens, Jaylen Brown, they talked about how, you know, he was gonna be on the trading block and they were gonna try and move him. So I'm sure Jayson Tatum was also aware of that. But in terms of, he's probably playing a little, a little cutesy there where like no one specifically told him, 'Hey, this is the trade.' He found out like everyone else. But I'm sure he was not surprised and fully aware what the plan was.

Subjective interpretation of Tatum's PR framing.

The Celtics have another major move coming following the Jaylen Brown trade

There's something going on here. I I said it to Max on the boat yesterday. I was like, Jalen Brown was getting traded. I could, I could just feel it. I could feel it coming... I feel like the Paul George thing is, there's the, like, they might be doing another trade. There's another move coming.

The trade just happened in the fictional 2026 timeline provided; further moves are pending.
