Teddy Bridgewater would be better if Adrian Peterson wasn't on the Vikings

I developed a semi hot take that [Teddy Bridgewater] would be better off if Adrian Peterson wasn't on the team. I just think that when you have a running back that is one of the all time greats... I think you get to the point just psychologically where the other 10 guys are counting on Adrian Peterson, and they're not counting on the quarterback the way that other offenses count on their quarterback.

Bridgewater suffered a catastrophic knee injury before the 2016 season, so we never saw this fully tested in the dome that year.

San Diego is 'fake life' and not real life

San Diego is fake life. It's not real life. There's nothing real about San Diego. There are no fat people. I'm pretty sure no one has a job except if you're in the Navy. It's beautiful every single day. Everyone's just relaxed and like cool. There's no edge.

The city of San Diego exists and is part of real life. This is a subjective observational take.

The Chargers should leave San Diego because fans living in paradise don't deserve a team

Just don't – I don't ever want to hear any San Diego fan ever tell me, like, we had a bad loss or boo-hoo, the Chargers are moving. You live in paradise. You don't deserve other things. You have the paradise to live with... I want you to lose the Chargers now.

The Chargers did indeed move to Los Angeles following the 2016 season.

The best way to get over a hangover is to drink more

My advice, as always, is Pedialyte. Pedialyte tends to work. But most importantly, my advice is to drink a Bloody Mary and then, like, seven beers afterwards. That's what I did this morning. It worked well.

This is a subjective lifestyle choice/advice, though medically it only delays the hangover.

Aaron Donald is going to come back to the Rams, potentially by this Friday

I think [Aaron Donald] is coming back and I think we may hear from him by Friday. Oh, that he is coming back. If he decides to come back, that's the key... he's making the decision soon and they'll have him on the field week one.

Mike Florio predicted that Aaron Donald would announce his return to the Rams by Friday, August 14, 2026. As of August 14, 2026, no official announcement of Aaron Donald's return to the Rams had been made. Reports indicated that a decision was expected by the end of the week, but no confirmation of his return was made by the specified deadline.

The Vikings will trade either JJ McCarthy or Kyler Murray because the loser of the QB battle won't accept being a backup

Whoever loses that quarterback competition isn't going to be very happy. Kyler Murray didn't go there to be the backup. JJ McCarthy feels like he hasn't gotten a fair shake... let's hope we can unload [McCarthy] and then go with three guys. Murray, Carson Wentz... and Max Brosmer.

Training camp is ongoing; the roster moves will likely occur before week one or by the trade deadline.

Baker Mayfield might sign with the Steelers for less money just to spite the Buccaneers for not paying him

Once [Baker Mayfield] is a free agent, it doesn't matter if somebody else is offering less, he could take less just as a middle finger to the Buccaneers for not paying him when they had the chance. I could see him taking less money to go to Pittsburgh... Pittsburgh is the perfect destination for him.

Mayfield is currently under contract with Tampa Bay; this refers to his future free agency move.
