The Lions will struggle this year due to losing both coordinators

I don't want to doubt the Lions because I think they feed on that. But when you look at last season... the Lions have lost both coordinators... How is it not gonna be a factor? It's just change. Continuity is so important in football and I think it may have reached a critical mass for the Lions and they're gonna have their hands full.

Mike Florio predicted the Lions would struggle in 2025 due to losing both coordinators (Ben Johnson and Aaron Glenn). The Lions started 4-1 but lost 6 of their last 10 games and missed the playoffs entirely after going 15-2 the previous year. The coordinator losses were widely cited as a major factor.

I'm concerned for America. You were looking at the potential lineup and just being like, oh, we're gonna get killed.

Europe won the Ryder Cup 15-13, but Team USA was not 'killed.' It was a relatively close match decided on the final day.

Why shouldn't I put a future on Jalon Daniels to win Heisman Trophy? ... It's 60 to one on the DraftKings Sportsbook right now. It's not crazy.

Jalon Daniels did not win the Heisman Trophy. The 2024 Heisman went to Travis Hunter. The 2025 Heisman went to Fernando Mendoza of Indiana. Daniels had an underwhelming 2024 season (5-7 record, 12 interceptions) and was never a serious contender.

The Vikings will trade either JJ McCarthy or Kyler Murray because the loser of the QB battle won't accept being a backup

Whoever loses that quarterback competition isn't going to be very happy. Kyler Murray didn't go there to be the backup. JJ McCarthy feels like he hasn't gotten a fair shake... let's hope we can unload [McCarthy] and then go with three guys. Murray, Carson Wentz... and Max Brosmer.

Training camp is ongoing; the roster moves will likely occur before week one or by the trade deadline.

Baker Mayfield might sign with the Steelers for less money just to spite the Buccaneers for not paying him

Once [Baker Mayfield] is a free agent, it doesn't matter if somebody else is offering less, he could take less just as a middle finger to the Buccaneers for not paying him when they had the chance. I could see him taking less money to go to Pittsburgh... Pittsburgh is the perfect destination for him.

Mayfield is currently under contract with Tampa Bay; this refers to his future free agency move.
