Tom Brady says he'll play until 45 to avoid a public farewell tour

I think he never wants his last year to be known as his last year. I don't think he ever wants to have a Derek Jeter farewell tour... by keeping that stake as far out into the future as possible, he'll never be in a season that anyone would say this is his last year.

Brady did play until 45 (retiring for good after the 2022 season) and famously avoided a traditional season-long farewell tour.

Week 3 is the week we officially find out which NFL teams are frauds

There's a lot of frauds. And week three is who we find out. That's when we know who the frauds are.

This is a subjective framing of the NFL season schedule commonly used by analysts.

College football is more exciting than the NFL, but it isn't 'better than' the NFL

Saying something is better than is not exactly correct in this case because, yes, college football is more exciting, but it's not better than. I mean, the guys aren't playing defense half the time. People are wide open. The windows are wide open.

This is a matter of personal preference regarding the technical quality of play versus high-variance excitement.

The Giants will win Monday Night Football against the Lions by a score of 12-10

And the Giants, Eli's going to fucking throw the ball into the ground 100 times. And the Giants are going to win like 12 to 10.

The Lions defeated the Giants 24-10 on September 18, 2017.

The Chargers could beat the Chiefs on Correction Sunday

Could it be something as drastic as the Chargers beating the Chiefs, the Chiefs at four and oh, the Chargers at oh and five? I think it's only been three times since the merger that a team four and oh or better has lost to a team oh and four or worse.

Mike Florio predicted the Chargers would beat the Chiefs. However, the Kansas City Chiefs defeated the Los Angeles Chargers 22-6 in their Week 6 matchup on October 18, 2026. The Chiefs remained undefeated at 5-0, while the Chargers fell to 0-6.

Someone will be fired if the Chargers start 0-6

The Chargers are never gonna be any more desperate than they are on Sunday, because their bye week comes next. And I assume somebody's getting fired. If they lose, whether it's Mike McDaniel, whether it's all the way up to Jim Harbaugh, I don't know, but I assume somebody's out if they go oh and six into the bye.

The Los Angeles Chargers started the 2026 season 0-6 and entered their bye week with that record. However, as of October 27, 2026, neither head coach Jim Harbaugh nor offensive coordinator Mike McDaniel had been fired, despite significant speculation regarding McDaniel's job security. The predicted outcome of someone being fired did not occur.

Josh Jacobs may not play again until the NFL sees the video

If I'm the NFL, my position is, hey man, you're not playing again until we see this. ... I think that's gonna keep this paid leave extended beyond Week 6 for Josh Jacobs.

Jacobs' playing status and the NFL's response would determine whether the paid leave continued beyond Week 6.
