Macklin Celebrini is the 'next Sidney Crosby'

San Jose ended up getting the second overall pick. Right now I'm rocking a San Jose Sharks Macklin Celebrini jersey. This kid is a stud. He is a fucking freak. He's the next Sidney Crosby. He dominated the Olympics like best on best. He was the like the he was like arguably the best player for Canada.

Whether Celebrini reaches Crosby's tier is a long-term prediction that is currently pending.

The 2026 Knicks are the best New York team I've ever seen in my life

The this this is probably the best New York team I I've ever seen in my entire life. Jalen Brunson is just a god at basketball.

The Knicks reached the second round after a sweep, but comparing them to World Series winning Yankees or Super Bowl winning Giants is a massive reach until they win the title.

The Knicks have finally unlocked Karl-Anthony Towns as an offensive facilitator

Timbs is a very good coach, but it does feel like The Knicks had finally figured out a way to unlock Kat in terms of being a guy who can facilitate offense. The high posts, you know, his assist number has been off the charts.

Towns' assist numbers in the Sixers series (64 through five games) were objectively higher than his previous playoff average, supporting the observation of a tactical shift.

I didn't want the Sixers to make the playoffs because this iteration of the team is bad

This isn't a good team. They're not a good basketball team. I don't know what happened in the Celtics series, but this is who we thought they were. I didn't want to make the playoffs because I didn't want watch this iteration of the Sixers. This team is bad.

While the Sixers were swept, they were a playoff team, making 'bad' a relative term of frustration.

John Chayka is a 'snake oil salesman' who lost his credibility in the NHL

I've talked to 20 people around the league and 19 of 'em have told me that this guy has no credibility. He's a snake, snake oil salesman. He's full of and just basically like like question completely question the guy's character.

Chayka's reputation in the league is a matter of widely reported controversy, making Biz's characterization consistent with many reports.

The Carolina Hurricanes are the most impressive team in the 2026 playoffs

If any anyone has doubted them or said negative things at this point, at least they should be getting on their hands and knees begging for forgiveness... they're electric. They've scored some amazing goals off the rush... they constantly attack you even when they're playing defense.

Carolina did start the 2026 playoffs 8-0 as of the recording date, making them objectively impressive.

Nathan McKinnon's scuba gear pool routine is a genius low-impact exercise

He handles his off ice as more intense probably than anyone in the league... in order to like recover, he gets to zone two cardio on his off days and he does it through low impact exercise in the swimming pool. So he does that, he'll go in there with the snorkeler and the goggles... he has some unauthentic, you know, things that he does as far as his preparation and who am I to to judge him.

McKinnon is widely known for extreme dedication to diet and recovery, though the specific efficacy of scuba-snorkeling is subjective.
